zeiss150
Hi everyone! Its been a looooooong time since I've been on the forum, but here I am. I can't for the life of me figure out the name of the part that is used to supply oil to the turbo charger. I know it T'S off the oil pressure sending unit, but what's that T called? What's the part Number? How can I buy one. I'm turning my NA L28 into a turbo engine and I just need to know what to buy for this part. AND YES I SEARCHED!!! for days not just this forum but the internet. Any info would be Rad! thanks in advance!
JSM
I always called it a turbo oil T-block. You need one? I might have an extra. Might. If I can't find it here is one on fleabay: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F222599772482 Edited October 30, 2017 by JSM
zeiss150
That would be awesome JSM! If you find it I’ll buy it off ya. Otherwise thanks for the eBay link. It seams like there should be an easy aftermarket part for that? 👍🏻
HuD 91gt
Can be purchased at your local autoparts or plumbing store. It is British Pipe, but NPT does work if you work it nicely.
HuD 91gt
Perhaps someone can help out with the thread diameter. I thought it was 1/16th, but perhaps 1/8" is correct. This is the NPT version. BPT would have to be sourced online but is the proper thread pitch.https://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-metal-pipe-tees/=1a1dxdo Edited October 30, 2017 by HuD 91gt
Chickenman
This is what you need. Just picked up one of these for my Oil pressure gauge. Proper BPT Male and female threads for block and Nissan sensing unit and then your choice of 1 or 2 female NPT ports on side. Nice part. http://prlmotorsports.com/oilfeedblockbspnpt-bsp-npt.aspx#.WfdVbVtSypo

Coil-overs, 4 wheel disc conversions, JDM bumpers, Pioneer Amp and a few other things. Mind you, I have an excuse. I've been having too much fun actually driving my 280Z !! Zer0Kool
Also the size and thread for the factory oil feed hard line is a m10x1.0. I believe that it also is a 45º double flare (not 100% on the flare).
