LooseRocks
I've been digging around and my search skills are just not up to par. It comes out of the firewall on the starboard side and along the frame rail. On the OEM engines that's not an issue as the exhaust manifold is on the port side. For the JZ GTE it would run right next to the exhaust manifold and down pipe. What are people doing about the chassis body wiring going forward? LooseRocks
No issues. That's good news. I didn't want to have to do anything about that.
Neverdone
If you're still worried about heat, get some aluminized heat wrap to go around any parts that would be near the exhaust. https://www.jegs.com/i/Vibrant-Performance/231/25830/10002/-1 That's one example, there are loads more. seattlejester
Mine sits on the passenger side, no issues. As long as there is a good air gap between them it should be ok. If you are concerned run heat protection as neverdone suggests or use TXL or GXL wire.
