Z-Dreamer
If anyone is interested, I ran across a shop that imports from Japan and spoke with the owner and he said he had a couple of RB26's in-stock! Mark

Guest Anonymous
Man, that is one clean ride. I'm hoping to scrape the money together in the future for an engine like that. Do you have pictures of the mounts, sump etc that I could see?

Guest nustad
I'm making a special trip to Aussie to see it!!! What about some Simmons wheels? Yellow Z's look the business and that is one helluva nice engine in there. Well done for doing such a challenging project Keep the pictures coming Cheers Glenn
R0N
Well done inside / out. Must be nice to have RB's available easily. Also you have shops for replacement parts. Are you far from Stony?
RB26DETT
Hi all, thanks for all your kind messages, the RB26DETT project has been a long time coming! My hard efforts are finaly starting to make sense! RON,PParaska and Stony>> I love your rides too, max respect for all of your solid efforts!!! To all others, if you want an RB powered zed or whatever else, be persistant and I'm sure you'll get there. Just make sure you're fussy with the whole project and don't do a half a*s job of it! Remember that an engine transplant is not a "whole" project, it may be the crux of it but the package as a whole is what a "well engineered" car is. Will keep you posted on more pictures and short clips (thanks to 26ounce for the digital camera, oh by the way, 26ounce>> tell all the others about the ride in Eric's RB30DET 260Z!) Guest Zpeed
i'm from melbourne, alan is form SA, arch is from melbourne also.. few others around also i'm thinking of the 2jzgte engine with the 6spd, rather the Rb26dett.. its cheaper... make the car a basterd... hehe
Guest Anonymous
yeah, he he it does to, didn't see that Heres what i'm thinking of doing:- First spending money on the l28 (head work, etc) to get it fairly quick like norm's car (not quite as extreme though), then save up (and wait till i'm 26 so i don't screwed on insurance) then do either the rb26dett or 1jz/2jzGTE swap. Probably the rb26dett, as although it is more exspensive, it seems to be easier
Guest VertexZ
im from Melb, 77 260Z 2+2 im thinking mildly worked L28...i dont think i can really justify putting 10k in the car at this stage. not till my salary goes up a bit
