WhiskeyZ
Hello all, I've been browsing this forum for a while, and decided it might be a good time to start documenting my little 240z project i've been working on for the last few years. I have a 1973 Datsun 240z with a Chevy 327 / Muncie M22 that I spend a lot of time wrenching on for fun, the 240z has always been my favorite body style and I got an opportunity to buy one a few years ago at an unbeatable price. Since then I have swapped in a 327 and M22 and been having a lot of fun with the car, but it's time to add even more project to the project car. I just came across an 430HP brand new LS3 crate on our local craigslist, and I couldn't help myself. I consider myself pretty good with cars, yet am nothing compared to most of you, so any feedback on my plan would be very useful. My fab skills are not up to par to create all the things like you all have, so I will be purchasing already fabbed mounts. Current plan: LS3 Crate (in possession) Dirty Dingo LSx Motor mounts (in possession) Holley Terminator X ECU CXRacing Headers Tremec Magnum-F T56 2.97, 1.78, 1.30, 1, .80, .63 ratio CX Racing T56 Transmission mount Ford 8.8 (3.55) diff from an 2015+ Mustang (hopefully) Invincibleextremes Ford 8.8 mounting kit If I get this, will use the 2004 neon srt4 coilovers Move from the 2-core Mishimoto to Champion 3 (or 4) row radiator Front Yota Big Break kit (complete) Rear Wilwood Break kit Pics along the way: Edited April 24, 2021 by WhiskeyZ
