Brad-ManQ45
This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages... The following verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible) Quran (9:11) For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace. Note the verse number!!!!

JMortensen
That reeked from the moment I laid eyes on it. Qu'ran verse 9:11 in reality states: "But if they repent and are firm in their devotion and pay the zakat, then they are your brothers in faith. We explain Our commands distinctly for those who understand." There is nothing I hate more than people making up religious verse and using it to their own ends. People are manipulated enough by what these books ACTUALLY say without fabricating passages. Where did you get that, Brad-Man? Somewhere on the internet I bet. We should all be careful of what we choose to believe, especially if we read it on the net... Jon - Agnostic and skeptic at large
Brad-ManQ45
Someone emailed it to me.. far as I'm concerned this thread should be deleted. sorry
Tim240z
I contemplated deleting it (per your request, Brad), but thought it would be a good example that everything we hear, see, or are given should be questioned, and not taken at face value.......a good lesson to learn. Mikelly
Not to bang on Brad-Man, but I'm with Tim on this one. I can't tell you how sick I am of constantly debunking honda-myth in my own household (Teens, gotta love them!). We should ALWAYS want to SEE for our selves, with out own eyes... And not just follow along like the rest of the Sheeple out there... Mike
