MML Rear Adjustable Control Arm Update

Recommended Posts

Here's a quick update to respond to the requests we've had lately on our rear adjustable control arm progress:

Fully oncar adjustable rear control arms, fully engineered and very effective design allows full use of OEM bushings, spindle pin, mounting bolts etc. This was one of the design teams primary goals and was achieved. Designed with each piece accomplishing it's full function with no duplication and easy adjustment. They weigh in same as stock arms, are adjustable for camber and toe. Prototype's were made and are being tested at present with production plans underway. Price not yet finalized at this stage, but not expected to exceed $500US.

Ross,

Just curious, when adjusting toe (thus adjusting one side shorter and one side longer), would the angle at the threads not increase on one side and decrease on the other, thereby placing increased stress on the adjusters?, or am I missing something completely?.......I have no engineering degree and thus know not of what I speak very often......:oops::D

  • 1 year later...

I'll share an email I recieved from Ross a few days ago. I'm ordering a set.

Control arms were pushed as hard as our nerves allowed us to push Ken's

supercharged Z at the 1/2 mile high bank oval and then at the Georgia SEZ

drag's. Group that designed and fabricated them does this for a living and

is all AWS certified etc etc, they're plenty strong:) I've got a queued

list of prepaid orders as a result of the well received interest in Florida

to ensure their order timing from the first run. They're $595 a set, fully

adjustable on the car with the benefits of full adjustment but no detriments

of heims (we can do them with heims for diehards that insist on them). They

should come out in a blue powdercoat in final production, expected to be

about 3 weeks right now.
