briann510
i need to buy a lightweight flywheel for a stroker motor. any suggestions on brands, weights and pros and cons over one style or another? thanks
JMortensen
Tilton is great if you can find one. Fidanza is good. Centerforce is too heavy. AZC is scary thin although I haven't had any problems with mine in 5 or 6 years of using it. Whatever you go with, have it balanced before you put it on the car. hanomon
I got a Fidanza for the LT-1/T56. I believe they are made as ordered. In other words you may be waiting up to 6-8wks as we did. That was ok by me, knowing the part was not just sitting on some shelf for who knows how long?
Forrest
I have two Fidanzas. They are 10.5lbs a piece and they are great! Is your stroker motor a V8 or L6? I know that several retailers have them in stock, and you should PM Tim Ogburn (TimO) - he is a Fidanza reseller and he gives us Z guys very good prices. zxtman
I have an 11 lb tilton that I've been running in the car for 16 years. Great fltwheel. Don't know if they're still available.

briann510
this would be for a 3.2 stroker, and so far MSA 13.5 lb one seems ok for the price. i am looking for a 225mm, not a 240mm.
Clifton
Although I'm not running an Arizona Z Car flywheel I have seen them and it looks about the same thickness as my HKS one.
TimZ
this would be for a 3.2 stroker, and so far MSA 13.5 lb one seems ok for the price. i am looking for a 225mm, not a 240mm. As I recall, the Fidanza will work with either clutch. I just saw in another post that you were also looking for a clutch. Why stick with the 225mm clutch? The 240mm will have more holding capacity, and it will package the same.
