Guest ON3GO
Hey guys, whats up.. put some money down today on a 2005 Scion Xb.. yes the small little box thing. lol will be my new daily driver and im very happy with my pick, for under 17K i can do any better. 31-38mpg, room for everybody and there dogs, reliable (number 1 best part about it), and new! specs on what ill be getting as i have to wait for it to come in as the color and etc i want isnt out till the end of this month. i put a deposit down on it so its a 99% sure im getting it. few bad things... i have to get it in florida as thats where my insurance company and etc thinks i am and etc. so i have to drive it from florida to texas. anyways i picked out a Solar Yellow color for it, its brand new and not even out yet, its going to be 1 of 2500 made and this is the only year it will be out. also i got a 5-speed as i cant stand automatic, got the fog lights, spoiler, mirrors with the turn signals on them and also the new "sport" interior lol. also getting for it maybe (depends on price) TRD lowering springs and TRD 17inch wheels. its no Z but its new and i like it, good on gas and plenty of space to haul parts and people in. wish me luck and will post pics when i get it, prob end of next month, mike

Guest ON3GO
lol man for being poor you sure buy alot of stuff.. must be a male ah uh.. hehe.. escort . yeah thats it..You still bringing the Green Z to SEZS5?... hehe ya if ya saw me you would take back that comment. and ya im trying my hardest to make it to the SEZ event, things are very hectic right now but im still pushing for it. if i dont go i wont even have a chance to drive the green Z for another 2 years or so.. if thats the case i might as well sell it. havent driven it in about 2 years now, if i dont go in march to drive it then it will be awhile for me to ever drive it. got school to finish up here in texas for another year and then after that i have 4 months of Benz Autobody school, then a year or more at a Benz dealership where every they place me mike
Guest comeandzpa
You preordered a Release Series 2.0? Impressive, glad to know they'll sell. As a Scion sales rep, I can promise you you're going to enjoy your new car. The Pioneer sound system rocks, and they are HUGE inside, especially for how small they are outside. Only problem I can see now is that 108 HP won't be quite enough for the owner of not one but TWO turbo Zs....but I'm sure you'll find a way around that. That said, enjoy! Deep
Just so you know, TRD springs are rebadged Eibach parts, and overpriced at that. The xB is great for what it is, but the tC is so much nicer if you don't need all the room. Then theres the 108 vs 160HP difference between them. fl327
and TRD headers are really sandersons.... Good luck with that one Mike, just picked up another 75 and s13...
zguy95135
I always liked the way they looked. BTW can you get the TRD supercharger kit?

Z-TARD
I'm probably going to be getting one of those in the near future too. California gas prices+ V-6 Eclipse+ "Premium Unleaded Fuel Only"+ 80 or more miles a day= $300 or so a month. I'm looking forward to the lower payment (Half of my eclipse payment), lower insurance, better Mpg, and the additional money I'll have to dump on my 240Z The true test will be to see if a Z hood will fit inside the Xb. If the hood will fit, so will just about everything else. And for the curious: Yes, a 240Z hood will fit in the back of a 2001 Eclipse Mike
CruxGNZ
Get a liscense plate that says "Box" and give your new ride a females name. You know what "box" is slang for on a woman, right Mike? I can come up with so many jokes about that. Nice ride too, wouldn't mind one myself, but I really couldn't use something that didn't haul or tow stuff. !M! "who wants to ride the short bus" or "the wheels on the bus go round and round.. round and round.." lol hahahahha i heard they add 20 horse power.. best part is ill be sporting a hybridz sticker on it!!! heres what im getting. mike
Tim240z
Sorry, but I think those are rediculous looking things...but to each their own.
Guest ON3GO
Sorry, but I think those are rediculous looking things...but to each their own. i agree 100%. but its under 16K, 60K mile warrenty, 32+mpg, seats 5 ppl comfy, has plenty of room to haul stuff, damn thing rides like a caddy (i swear), and its brand new!!! i dont have to smell like fuel when i get out of it like my Z. i dont have to fill it up everyday, i dont have to worry if ill break down on the way to work or school. it has a/c and heat which none of my Z's do. a sterio that i can hear over the exhaust and did i mention it gets AWESOME gas mileage! lol i cant complain at all, 21 years old and i have some nice rides and now this new car. im doing okay for myself and im sure ill enjoy it plenty! mike
CruxGNZ
heres what im getting. Wow, that thing is bright! I got the perfect name for her, Daisy. Throw some big white pedals on it and... !M!

Sparks280zt
I am going to have to agree with Tim, but I have seen some with rims on them that look pretty sweet. But after all the plusses you metioned, it dosent sound to bad, plus Toyotas last forever.
Jay1970Z
I actually think that yellow one is pretty cool looking. Those things have tons of room inside for as small as they are. if i dont go i wont even have a chance to drive the green Z for another 2 years or so..if thats the case i might as well sell it. If you ever decide to sell let me know, I've been a fan of the "Hulk" for quite some time now
Deep
I always liked the way they looked. BTW can you get the TRD supercharger kit? My group did a few events with TRD Canada this summer and we had an Echo hatch with a mockup of the Blitz S/C, which is apparently gonna be the new TRD S/C for the Echo/xA/xB. Guest comeandzpa
ZGuy - As of now, the supercharger is only available on the tC. It should boost power from 160 to about 200, keeping it on par (powerwise) with an Acura RSX. As of now they have no plans to supercharge the xA or xB, although I'd imagine they'll get around to it eventually. As for the Echo, it will cease to exist after this next year, and will be replaced by a European model called the Yaris for '06. Mike - You're right, the xB has a phenomenal ride. Especially for such a small car, and considering how inexpensive it is it's a fantasic deal. The interior is absolutely cavernous, rear-seat legroom is downright silly for a car that size. Plus the milage is great. Tim - I'll grant you that the styling is a bit funky. To each his own indeed...personally I like it. I didn't at first, but it kind of grew on me. For those who like them, they're a steal of a deal. A/C, ABS, Pioneer 6-speaker AM/FM/CD player with satellite capability, and more for just over $14K. Plus, as Sparkz mentioned, Toyotas will run for roughly the rest of time. You might need to change the belts around 200K miles...maybe.
