Guest ON3GO
these pics are from work.. school doesnt have anything like these cars lol.. we do everything from reg repairs and now getting into custom installs and engine parts. right now we are making a few exhaust systems and fmic setups for some SR guys and miata ppl. we are doing a V6 MR2 swap with a TRD supercharger.. its gonna be fun! we are now looking for a few 1.8T ppl so we can do a APR stage 4 TT kits but so far no luck. doing a few performance stuff for some BMW's and porsches lately though.. mike
EvilRufusKay
Very Cool!! WhenI went to school I worked at a ford dealer...no where near as cool. I bet it makes those short sleep hours worth it. I am sure it beats spending days on end doing ignition switch recalls!! Thanks for posting the pics!! Rufus
80LS1T
Man Mike you got it good! I work at a Dodge dealership and yeah recalls suck and they pay like $hit! I dont plan on working for a dealership forever but I am learning a lot about cars in the mean time. In the last 2 years of work experience I have learned 10 times what I learned in the 2 years of schooling I had for Auto Technology. I just want to learn how to fix everyday cars and then look into something performance oriented! You got lucky and went straight to the performance market! Guest ON3GO
well we do pretty much all repairs so im doing that mostly now. i just get to do them on some cool cars. the last 3 weeks has really brought some cool cars in which i had the time of my life working on and driving them. it just sucks because i dont have any life now.. work and school.. work and school.. work and work.. sucks! plus when i do get free times its either me working on the shop cars or trying to afford parts for my Z's.. right now im smack in the middle on trying to figure out how to fit the damn saab turbo motor in a old VW Rabbit.. and while doing that we are rebuilding the SR20.. and i gotta get both cars prepped for paint and body work.. need ya ed!!! mike

Nothing but project car after project car, and they're all nice! What other crazy swaps are in the works?
zguitar71
I wanted a GTV6 when I was 16, they were new then (1986). I would love to have one now but my hands are full with the Z.
cygnusx1
My first car was a 1972 Alfa Romeo Berlina 2.0 Mechanical Fuel Injected. WHAT A SWEET SOUND that car made. It rotted into nothing I kept the motor for several years dissasembled in my garage and recently sold all the remaining Alfa parts on ebay. I am concentrating on the Z. ON3GO, looks like you are really getting some great experience! That stuff is not for the faint hearted! Good luck.
