Cable
Not a JTR setup either.....
myplasticegg
i love the fact that it is an auto.. but there is a third pedal there... It is a very nice car, but i would think at the level of detail the car is at that the speakers would be hidden better, not just out in the open. Dudeboy
I agree. The speaker location and this was more than likely a manual Z in its first life. But, it is still a very sweet Z. Also, are those hood pins ? The hood latch is moved over for firewall space, so is this a JTR or MSA engine mount?
DavyZ
Also, are those hood pins ? The hood latch is moved over for firewall space, so is this a JTR or MSA engine mount? Probably not a JTR and it is very difficult to tell---even though the engine seems way back, it still uses the mechanical fuel pump which does not work per JTR spec. Also, I can't see any AL spacers in the engine compartment. I, for one, am glad this was posted again--I must have missed the first posting of this car! awd92gsx
I've seen that hood on other V8 Z's...can somebody tell me where to find it?
DavyZ
I've seen that hood on other V8 Z's...can somebody tell me where to find it? The cowl is too high for a Reaction Research hood, plus it has no ridge in the center. Davy
awd92gsx
Thanks Davy... I really do like the looks of that Hood, though...I'll keep looking.
DavyZ
Thanks Davy... I really do like the looks of that Hood' date=' though...I'll keep looking.[/quote'] Perhaps it is a MAS (not necessarily MSA) hood. I have not done any business with MAS, but I think some other members like Mikelly has. I agree that the hood looks great! I have the Reaction Research Subtle Z hood and I like it, but I wish the cowl was at least an inch taller. Meaner is better Davy
Guest SC457A
the hood looks kinda similar to my hood which i bought from Jim Cook racing. although it looks a little taller than mine, and the center isn't as straight as mine is... i want one though. Georgia Flash
Gentlemen, Is that not the hood that I have? If it is, it came from JC Whitney. That is one sweeeet looking Z! Can't see the hood in my sig pic BTW Here is a better pic
Tim240z
Flash, If it came from JCWhitney, then it is the MAS hood. JCW has it drop shipped from Minnessota. Tim
awd92gsx
How can I get a hold of MAS? Do they have a site? Thanks Georgia! If that's not it, it's close enough. Does it have provisions for the hinges?
