AK-Z
Might be able to use these. Yamaha R6 2003 headlights.
Drftn280zxt
http://www.cycletherapy.com/ebaypics/2002/s89.jpg[/img']Might be able to use these. Yamaha R6 2003 headlights. The only problem I foresee with using any OE headlights is alignment. I mean you could fabricate any headlight to work with the rest of the body, but who knows where you headlights will be pointing. This is my reasoning for customization Thanks for the suggestion though.

Drftn280zxt
Hmmm...those Z8 headlights aren't bad. Something to keep in mind. The lines are somewhat similar to the S130's. Not bad at all Surfing around, this company (makes aftermarket lighting) might have interest in my project. Anzo
sir_daniel
think i found the right one to modify =) DODGE NEON 95-99 from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99-DODGE-NEON-2-HALO-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-96-97-98_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33710QQitemZ8015629830QQtcZphoto
DAW
Do you have the overall dimensions for the Neon conversion lights? DAW
sir_daniel
no idea at all, does anyone got a neon? neighbor perhaps? it think it could work nicely¨. "just" make 1 cut right in between the two lights take out the glassfiber "cover" for the org. headlight measure and connect them and then start to make them stick with eg. "melting glue" (or what the english name is for it) and adjust them towars a wall (where you got sketched the signature/lightning of the org. headlights) the best way would ofcasue be to use the same instrument that the shops use to adjust the headlights... but if this should work we need the measurement of the org. headlight from the neon. then perhaps make a mold of the finnished (not swedish ) product... that could be rally cool i think
Drftn280zxt
that would be interesting Sir Daniel. Personally I am not really flaberghasted by the "Angel" eyes, but whatever floats your boat. I might find them more attractive if they didn't have so many "little lines" (for a lack of better words) in them. Kinda makes the unit look cheap IMO. I guess what I am trying say in a clear cover that gives an unobstructed projection of light would make the Angel seem much more appealing (to me anyways). I am just picky like that I like the idea nonetheless
jp 280
Ok, i managed to get in to see a company about getting this kit made over here in New Zealand. They were a bit busy to talk in depth about it, they have no problems doing it but due to the size of the project they didnt want to give an exact price, the estimated cost is between $10000 and $20000 NZD and my car would be needed for between 4 and 6 months. So all going well with some of my other projects I will look at doing this next year and will get in contact with you over sorting out a kit for yourself for doing all the hard work, below is some links to some of the work done by the company I went to. http://www.nissangtir.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=391&PN=1 http://nforca.com/exterior.html http://www.ignitionmagazine.co.nz/cars/1 Cheers Jeremy
sir_daniel
Drftn280zxt i totaly agree with you about the angelseyes, they look cheap, but i hope that my idea is something similar, but if i find similar without angeleyes i don't think it would be so hard to build/mold them into the existing "headlight cover" (what is the real name for the glassfiber "thing" that's in front of the headlights?) sir_daniel
Now have i got a extra par of headlight buckets, and today did i buy a set of civic 99-00 headlights (unforenually with angeleyes, but still with projector headlights) so when they arrive do i just have to start cutting them in smaller peices and start to mold them in =)
EvilRufusKay
What are "angeleyes"?
sir_daniel
the round glowing thing outside the actual headlight (or how to say it) that you often can see on BMW's
240hoke
Why dont yall just buy a projector kit and mold your own bucket. Much easier IMO. Seems like you are tryign too hard to change something that is already made. I have neve really seen a light graph that looked exactly right. Some look damn good but there is always something kinda off. Not to mention these are all expensive ideas. Looks over at http://www.HIDplanet.com at stuff like this: you can get a full packeage HID/projector beams ready to go in a housing. A bucket would be pretty simple to make out of some fiberglass and bondo. Anyway just my 2 cents. And nice sketches btw, I really like em.
