Drax240z
I paid that for my Quaife!
Guest Battle Pope
500 bucks for a cleaning and some spraypaint? I'd rather get a diff from a Q45.
mark
The output shafts on that type of diff are specific to that type of diff. If the buyer does not have them, he is screwed
JMortensen
87 should be a standard clutch LSD, so any output shaft out of a 280Z would work.
JMortensen
Still, you can buy a NEW carrier for ~$500. Definitely overpriced.
mark
Maybe it's the all white version (88? ) that I'm thinking of. Somethig different about that diff. If I don't write it down these days...........
JMortensen
Yeah, the white 88 has the VLSD, and the shafts are particular to that diff.
Cody 82 ZXT
For that much I'll pull mine and paint it for any takers... Hahahahahahahahaha
Pop N Wood
Looks like two guys got in a bidding war. Someone should contact the loser and sell them theirs.

ZR8ED
I guess it depends on your area. I paid $1000.00 for mine (with halfshafts) I have had several and routinely sell them for $600.00-800.00. They are quite rare around my parts (Toronto, Canada) I even purchased an entire 300zxt this summer just for the diff!! (Yes that means I have a spare diff at the momement)
RB26powered74zcar
Watch and see what this one goes for.... it will be close. Blax always has nice parts. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-240Z-280ZX-300ZX-R200-LSD-Limited-Slip-NR_W0QQitemZ8015390651QQcategoryZ33731QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

johnc
Still, you can buy a NEW carrier for ~$500. Where?

johnc
OK, I talked with Precision Gear a while ago and the PB is fine for a street car. They do not recommend it for autocross or road racing.
JMortensen
That's retarded. It's the same thing Nismo sells.
JMortensen
Did they happen to tell you WHY it wasn't recommended?
