So I finished my mount yesterday. Its not pretty, but it is really strong and it make my giant S/C fit in the engine bay, so Im happy. Plus now I have a working proto type that I can get something nicer made from.

Anyway, It is not plumbed yet and I dont have the pulley bolted to the crank yet, but this will giver you an idea about what I have been doing with my past few days (not that any of you even know who I am lol)

Yea, I am going to try and fit up some sort of heat sheild. As far as the beefyness of the bracket goes, that metal surprisingly strong (and expensive!) But yea, like I said, this is just a prototype so I can get the car running and have a templet to work off of. After the MSA show is over I plan to get a finished bracket made.

I actually used the L28ET motor with the s/c. I decided that I wanted somthing that would make more boost than the stock turbo and that seemed like a good way to do it. Peak pressure output is supposed to be about 1.2Bar

It looks like a cogged belt? Not sure of the traction of the drive system, but I second the additional reinforcement. Its amazing how much stress a belt supercharger puts on the mounts. You can see in my personal photos, the custom brackets I made, though V6. With an 8 rib ATI, I was using 1/2" aluminum, mounted to three points on my head, the front of the SC, and the SC housing.. Then adding more angle bracing, turnbuckles etc, above 14 psi, I still had deflection and belt slip. I was using my weight and a 2' breaker bar to set the tension. Try and see? Always make it beefier.
