Its sanded to a satin finish. The red is the only gloss used, I've never been a fan of shiny parts on cars .
yea then, that wouldn't be too hard. I could even use a satin clear coat over the whole thing if you wanted that finish.

That green looks really nice on the black, Mike...

Was that a candy lime green ?? It looks similar to a set of CBR wheels that I just did the other day..

The red and black VC with the clear would at least be a 3 stage process.... I did a set of M/T valve covers for a Mustang with blue and silver with polished letters, the process would be similar to that one..

Cruez, its eastwood's lime green with a little black tint added to it. They say the black tint darkens colors, and I expected it to work like a candy and blend in a little better than 2 solid colors, but if you look close you can see the black in it.

Mine was a 3 stage process too.

I thought Powder coat doesnt blend like liquid paints. In my experience if you mix multiple colors, you'll just get a mosiac effect. My shop does PC for subs, and we've tried it.
pretty much thats the way it is. If you look closely you can see 2 colors when you blend them. However, for Nissan 350z daytona blue, its the only way I was able to duplicate the color. That was 2 blues very close in shade though, so it was ok.

The stuff I used on this one is advertised like this: "Black Tint can be added to any of our powders to alter the shade.", so I gave it a try. Its not perfect, but it did darken up the lime green to an acceptable shade. I put the cover on today and it looks remarkable in the car.
