zero
I saw them on ebay and picked them up because I can't afford datsun mirrors and needed mirrors anyway. I found this schematic for the placement of the datsun mirrors and I was wondering if you guys thought this would be ok for my mirrors. Thanks
Yorgee
Damn...those are pretty nice, how much did they run ya? I kno what you mean about the datsun mirrors man...they're pretty expensive.

Sven
Hey Zero, it looks like we're either mirror buddies, or we will be crying on each other's shoulders . I just won these on Ebay, also from the land of green curry, but from a different Ebay seller. The similar background in our pics has me worried... But, I've bought parts from Thailand before with no issues. I'm crossing my fingers. I got a slightly better deal, but I think I lucked out and won't rub it in. I still just can't stomach $300 for the original friggin' mirrors. Ridiculous. Definitely post some pics if you get them mounted. I won't be able to get mine on the 240 for about a month. veritech-z
Actually no, my mirrors are from a 1979 Mazda RX-7. They're power, but not hooked up. These look pretty good though.

OlderThanMe
how about rustoleum??? $40-$50 to do it and a bunch of different colors to choose from.
BillZ260
So how is the quality of the pieces? Did you guy's notice that this guy sells replacment side markers for 510 too? Looks like the ones we need for our S30's. I like.
veritech-z
posted by OTM: how about rustoleum??? How about Camo??? Only cost you about $15 dollars, but you'll have to flash some i.d. when you buy the paint. Plus it goes nicely with the Jersey Satin...(except we call it "Tampa Satin" here in the dirty south. [actually I just made that up, we just hang our heads in shame when people ask why our cars are flat black and tell them "I'm painting it next week..."])
Sven
Awesome pics Zero. Now spend that spare two bills you saved on paint! ...Not that there's anything wrong with the suede look. (I'll have it soon enough)
Sparks280zt
how about rustoleum??? $40-$50 to do it and a bunch of different colors to choose from. How about real car paint? Cause its not much more and some is even the same price or cheaper. Of the non datsun fender mirrors that have put on Z cars, those look the best, but nothing IMO looks as good as the real thing, but they are very expensive. zero
well I currently have satin black rustoleum sprayed on there with low pressure to give it texture. Right now, my car is nowhere near nice enough for me to give it nice paint. I like the idea of having it look rough and mean and unfinished until it actually is finished. I really am not gonna paint it until I get a shell doesnt have that much rust. For now, I like it looking beat up.
