biohazard53188
Today i was browsing the internet and i stumbled across a couple of message boards where they were taking about a 180zx. Has anybody ever heard of this before? Supposedly it is some sort of conversion i hear?
Cruez
I think its pretty much the japanese version of a 200SX we had here.
biohazard53188
I think its pretty much the japanese version of a 200SX we had here. So it was an official release then? Not a conversion that was just given that name?
z_cars_rule
there is a 180SX, but no such thing as 180ZX Could possibly be a 180SX with the front or rear from one of the ZX's Same thing that is done with Onevias and Sil80s
nismofiend
Or a Z with a CA18DET motor? I saw something similar months ago too, it was a couple pics of some japanese guys standing around a Z (can't remember if it was S30 or S130 though) and the back tail piece said 180ZX. Threw me way off.
veritech-z
Google image search turned up this: http://www.drifting.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=894&stc=1 180sx with a bodykit to make the front look like an S30. We had a thread about this bodykit in the non-tech, and it's come up a bunch. Also during the google search there were a bunch of 200sx S12 body pictures, some with 180zx written on the back. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=113824&highlight=240sx
b__sosick
or... a ca18det powered z31/z32 or 280zx!!...that'd be sweet! would be very similar to an sr20 powered z...right?
veritech-z
or... a ca18det powered z31/z32 or 280zx!!...that'd be sweet! would be very similar to an sr20 powered z...right? Except that those cars outweigh an older z by a huge amount, so the performance wouldn't be nearly as good unless you had some WORK done to that motor. I would think, anyway. biohazard53188
So is it just a made up car? people just give there car a random amount of body modifications and decide to call it a 180zx? this makes me sad:cry:
nismofiend
A Z without rust BRILLIANT!
280zg
The S12, is called a lot of things - Silvia 200sx 180zx gazelle and maybe some names i dont remember. I think the 180zx name was only used for the s12 chassie, produced from -84 to -89, and was named 180zx in sweden and uk, maybe some other places too. It was powered by the ca18et. Kimi
280zg was faster. The S12 is called 180ZX e.g. in Sweden.
