hughdogz
X2 Lookie here: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=125644 official site: http://www.zccjdm.com/ Brian is a great guy. Very knowledgable and he hardly marks up the price at all (maybe ~$20). Mostly he just wants us USA guys to be able to get JDM parts we cannot get stateside otherwise. Hope this helps! Later, -Hugh [Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that he is willing to make S130 adjustable T/C rods for us. Somone just needs to send him an OEM part to work from. I've seen his work for the S30 rods he makes and the quality (and engineering) is top-notch IMHO.]

Very curious to see the prices on these parts Go to his website, click on "who is Kameari", click on their catalog. He can get any part from them (so far as I know...) Coilovers: http://kameariengineworks.co.jp/catalogue-P41.pdf Camber plates: http://kameariengineworks.co.jp/catalogue-P39.pdf azcarbum is checking on the price for the coilovers, but from the cataloge they are ~45k yen. mrkopsho
I'm drooling over some of those parts!! I just wish I could read the damn discriptions and prices!!
rwdawg2
i'll for sure take some front coilovers. i think i might still do the s13 rear coilovers though unless they have a full rear set up. the way it looks there are still a lot to make the rears work even with that coilover set up that zcc has. thanks and looking forward to hear some prices
johnc
A front coil-over setup is easy for a S130. If someone is willing to be the prototype guy and bring me their S130, I can come up with a shock/coil over setup for the rear of a S130. m1ghtymaxXx
So how hard would it be to addapt something like this to fit: http://cgi.ebay.ca/88-91-240SX-DRIFTING-COIL-OVER-COILOVER-SPRINGS-RED_W0QQitemZ130162277057QQihZ003QQcategoryZ33582QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I assume on the rear the sleeve just sits on top of the spring perch? And front you just cut the perch off, and weld the sleeve on? obviously i wouldn't run the pos ebay springs for long, but do you think those cheap ebay sleeves will last? evildky
zcarbum sells front and rear coilover setups for the 280ZX (S130). I don't know if they are Kameari or Cusco or what. ZCCJDM.com Also, along a similar note, he sells front and REAR camber plates for s130's as well. He has a HUGE parts catalogue that has TONS of S130 JDM aftermarket parts Hope this helped... ummm... you can put camber plates on the back of a z31 or s130 they just won't do anything, the plates he linked to are both for the fronts, one is simeple a solid mount hat the other is the adjustable camber plate and the rest are for other chassis, none are for the rear of an s130, the s130 uses a trailing arm, the shock position has nothing to do with the amount of camber, if you want to adjust the rear camber you either modify the crossmsmber where the trailing arms mount op or put adjusters int he training arms themselves, I havn't seem the arms themselved modified but seems logical, real plates, ain't gonna happen, and aoneone who says they do is an idiot
m1ghtymaxXx
check outwww.redz31.com Intersting, but z31 rear struts are quite different having no perch. I'm hoping to get away with no welding or cutting on the rear, since they will be brand new. Does anyone know if s13 front struts are the same outer diameter as s130 struts? If so I might order an ebay kit and see what i can rig up.
evildky
actually the z31 suspension is very similar to the s130
m1ghtymaxXx
actually the z31 suspension is very similar to the s130 The design is, but the rear shocks don't have spring perches, so homemade coilovers will be a bit different.
rwdawg2
there was somewhere in here that says the s13 rear coilovers will mount up directly except for the fact that s13 top hats have 2 studs and the s130 mounts have 3 studs. that is what i understand the only difference. the fronts you will have to do just like redz31 or slown'rusty

What you say makes total sense to me now. Even though I was born in Japan, I can't read a lick of katakana or whatever those characters are. zx_drift
I'm making custom Koni coilovers at my work. I already ordered the struts and shocks, so I should have them by next weekend. I'm pumped. Ask if you want to know how to make them, I'm going to put up pictures of the project in this thread.
