Guest FLAZGUY
Help! I am at the end of a build of my latest Z. A 78 280Z with 44K on the car. I can not find the "distance piece" IE spacer for the rear wheel bearings (looks like a short piece of tail pipe). I need two "B" one for each side. These are coded A, B or C on the casting that the bearings are pressed into. If any of you know where I can find these parts please post a location or source. JMortensen
You're probably going to have to pull apart another strut to find one. Those pieces usually travel with the strut.
zcarnut
I’m curious. I’ve disassembled over thirty S30 rear struts and I have never seen an “A†or “C†distance spacer. They were all stamped "B". What about anyone else?
Guest FLAZGUY
I know that I can go to the junk yard and pull the stub axles off of a doner but I was hoping that there may be someone on here that has two of these laying around. I hate to tear up a car for such a small part. It also is a real PIA to do this type of dissasembly in the dirt with no power tools.

trwebb26
They were stamped with a "B" on my 78' 280z.
