big-phil
Phil, ur car is really lookin good these days. To me it looks so much better without the 2 extra lights u had. And the wheels and flares made a huge difference... thanks!

TrumpetRhapsody
veritech, you should fab up a WRX style hood scoop to direct air into the top of that TMIC, that would look amazing! I've mocked up a budget for my planned body and engine build, and I'm just shy of 5k. Of course that's before suspension, wheels rims and zg flares, audio, etc
Forrest
I think I'm under 5k...for this year.

Regulatori
I don't have current pics but I think I win when it comes to getting an awesome initial deal. My dad's friend hooked me up on a sweet Z after I graduated boot camp in the Marine Corps (he had way too many projects going on and I had been begging him to sell the Z for the past 3 years). The car was a 73 240Z with a 3.1 stroker, triple Mikuni 44s, 280Z 5 speed/rear end, header, Tokico adjustables, shaved trim/lights, and a few other stuff. The car had newer paint and no rust (I've checked under body panels and I had on a lift to check other areas, etc..) Perfect interior too...no cracks/rips, etc.. Price $500 So far I've put on a new 3" exhaust (JIC Racing TI) ($500), carbon fiber bumpers/BRE wing ($1000), threaded coilovers with sectioned struts ($1300), and Longchamp Xr4 rims in 15x8 -14 with Toyo tires ($1500). SO I'm just under $5000 for everything.
datsun723
Back from the grave! '75 280Z-2500 Maintenance-800 Twice Pipes-300 Annnnnd I haven't done a whole lot to it The springs and struts were already done, as were the seats, steering wheel, and a complete carpet kit I have yet to install. Floors will be prepped this week and I will be ordering a quiet ride dampening kit to install. The stereo hasn't been done yet either and I'm figuring it will probably run me 600 to do it the way I want it. I WILL be under 5k for a dd but I am no where done with the build. LS swaps aren't all that cheap haha. Let's see some other builds guys!
