e_racer1999
The sending unit still has to pick up the fuel from the tank, unless you're running a sump. Optional mod would be larger feed and return lines on the tank

LanceVance
Strotter, I stumbled upon your thread while trying to figure out a way to consolidate my fuel components and add a surge tank. Your diagram was exactly what I was looking for! Did you ever get around to making your fold down setup, and if so would you be able to show it off for us? Sorry for the necropost, but this seems like something worth bringing up if you've completed it. Edited October 29, 2011 by LanceVance
strotter
Wow, it has been a while since I saw this thread. I'm glad it helped. I ended up bolting everything to an aluminum plate, mounting it with four bolts with rubber stand-offs. With the bolts out, it "swings" down on the various hoses. Not that I've worked on it a lot lately...
DuoWing
This thread sounds exactly like what I need. Especially considering you can even buy one of these civic driers for about $10. The only concern I have is, would this be too small of an amount for a surge tank, or it really shouldn't matter?
BluDestiny
Surge tank size matters depending on how much fuel you're sending to the engine and how much of it is being used.
