CantZme
"This is the ONLY Diesel Powered 280Z in the U.S of A" Pretty bold statement to make:rolleyesg
OlderThanMe
"ONLY Diesel Powered 280Z in the U.S of A" True...but not the ONLY s30 Z running a diesel. Still a really cool Z. I have heard of that 280z before third hand. Low end torque really helps with the autoX.
V8_DatZun
nice clean looking z... lol.. couldnt imagine a diesel in a Z.. would be crazy. is it just me... or does that tailpipe look like a shin-gett'r?? lol
Lewis Maudlin
Yeah, he is kinda full of it. Not even close to the only diesel powered 280z
240zV8
so is a 4bt cummins alittle to heavy for a Z? I think if it would fit in a Z that would be a killer setup because that engine can produce some torque.
OlderThanMe
Hmm... The Dodge motors weigh like half of what a whole 240Z weighs...

Cruez
Damn... I didn't expect the diesel to run as good as the video showed... My father had a Volvo 6 Cylinder diesel. I was driving it one day and got left behind by a SCHOOL BUS..... no kidding.. that was one of the slowest POS I have ever drove.
Shift
So who's gonna buy it? I sure it has a diesel sticker on there now. So you can pretty much stick anything in there
qwik240z
Yeah, he is kinda full of it. Not even close to the only diesel powered 280z Do you know of another one?? nice clean looking z... lol.. couldnt imagine a diesel in a Z.. would be crazy. is it just me... or does that tailpipe look like a shin-gett'r?? lol Yes. that tail pipe does stick out a bit but it keeps the fumes out of the cockpit. The owner Keith is a friend of mine and I have driven the car. For a diesel it has surprisingly good pickup. He and I went to the Mitty last year, He drove the Diesel and I drove the LS1240Z. He got 40MPG and I got 29MPG for the trip. It is good that I have the faster car since riding behind him is kind of Stinky. Stinky is the car's nickname. The car is nice and runs sweet and is relaible enough to go anywhere. It has cold A/C and a great stereo too. Whoever gets it will enjoy it alot. How many 40MPG sports cars do you know of??
