Administrators BRAAP Posted August 28, 2007 Administrators Share Posted August 28, 2007 Spent a small portion of the afternoon at PIR (Portland International Raceway) drooling over Exotic Italians today. Took over 400 pics with Nikon D70s. Here are just a few highlights. Ron Tyler was also there and took a few shots. Maybe he'll share as well.... ****EDIT**** I deleted all the pictures and resized/reposted those picture, this time around without loosing so much quality. I apologize to those that already saved these pics. Now you can save these higher quality versions.

Administrators BRAAP Posted August 29, 2007 Author Administrators Share Posted August 29, 2007 Update, I went back and reposted the original 2 posts of pics, this time MUCH better quality. MUCH much better.. I also found myself VERY much attracted to extremely voluptuous GTO, spending more time admiring it than any of the other Italian jobs on hand, though the two F-40’s did get their share of our attention as well. On the track, the honors for “best noises” came from the F-40, HANDS DOWN! Full body chill just thinking about it again. The Turbos spooling, of course that flat crank V-8 winding to incredible RPM’s, gear whine from the trans, etc. On the track, the F-40 had the look and sound of the perfect date. Here are some more GTO shots as requested
Administrators BRAAP Posted August 29, 2007 Author Administrators Share Posted August 29, 2007 Here are some more pics of the day. Aston Martin Vantage, Ferrari 575M, even the F-40 Waste gate exhaust gets its own muffler..
Administrators RTz Posted August 29, 2007 Administrators Share Posted August 29, 2007 OMG what I do to hear and drive an F40 in person.. havent been that lucky in the mile high city Prox, As Paul mentioned, the F40 was the sound-king of the lot. Here is a great video playing its song... 2400lbs, 478 HP, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds
