HS30-H
I'm proud to be an American gear head: Patriotic, God fearing, throttle response! An F1 engine designed and built in France, mounted in a chassis designed and built in England, playing 'God Save The Queen'. I'm sure you are indeed proud to be "an American gear head", but can you explain what that has to do with this vid? I don't see the connection. ??? It is also "My country tis a thee..", or what ever the real words are. Our national anthem is sung to the melody of a British drinking song, so hey, cut us some slack. We won the war, we will do what we want.

stony
You guys probably already know this but those dynos can actually be programmed to run a full length F-1 race at an actual track using telemetry from a race. So say you want to see if your engine will last an entire race at spa just program it in and run the race. That is bad ass!!!
spotfitz
Try this thread for your answer: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=115718 Yep Alan, I got tagged on that one. I did actually research it after the fact and found I was actually slightly off from what I remember, but I could be wrong. It has happened before and it probably won't be the last time. Our national anthem is sung to the melody of a British drinking song, so hey, cut us some slack. And that is what I found. Maybe thats why I love drinking. Regulatori
It might have already been mentioned but that came from a segment on Top Gear from a few weeks ago. It was a great show...one of the Top Gear drivers tried driving an F1 car and could barely get it around the track due to the power and cold brakes/tires (cold because he couldn't push the car hard enough to heat up everything). Really shows how difficult those cars are to drive.
