BillZ260
Some of the guys at the autox event commented on how my Z was leaning over really far in the corners, but it didn't seem too bad to me. It did slide around a bunch but that had more to do with a dirty track and small tires. Even though this is mostly a street car should I get some stiffer springs? Currently I have MSA 1" Lowered and Tokico Blues. What do you all think? http://www.youtube.com/user/gherwilm
TravRMK
Looks like some stiffer springs and illuminas might be needed. At the very least you could go with the illuminas and stiffen them up for the events. I would get stiffer springs too though. What are the spring rates on the MSA springs? Bartman
My car was "leaning" like that as well. I've since installed an ST swaybar kit and I'll see this weekend if it makes a difference. Here's a link to a thread I started a while back about how much my car was "leaning". http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=122913
260DET
Here is another link relevant to a powerful S30, note the discussion about anti roll bars. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=133153
BillZ260
So it shouldn't be leaning over that much? I'm following the other thread as well, thanks. Currently I have the stock front sway and no rear.
Thumper
So it shouldn't be leaning over that much? I'm following the other thread as well, thanks. Currently I have the stock front sway and no rear. I was running tokico illumina's and springs and had a fair amount of body roll. When I upgraded the sway-bars it drastically reduced. So unless your struts are bad I would first upgrade the sway bars. Makes a huge difference.
johnc
ST kit 52095.
BillZ260
ST kit 52095. Do you retail those John? Their based in California, but their retailer list only lists one shop in Indiana and 3 in Canada, and I didn't find any reputable online retailers. Google basically nets me this thread and ST's website If you don't retail them I'll contact them directly. Strike that, I'm surfing challenged, at least that's what my wife calls it. Found them....and BRIGHT green no less...I guess I'll have to go with the Sinclair paint scheem so they blend in
Bartman
Try Summit Racing http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=STQ%2D52095&N=700+115&autoview=sku
johnc
I sell the kit but I'm expensive. Summit Racing is usually the cheapest but they are often out of stock. Shox.com also ahs petty good prices.
