zgeezer Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 Finally fitted my 5.3 into the 240. Used JC's kit. Now to wire the engine. I have a custom loom sold a few years ago by Street & Performance. For chassis wiring, I have a Ron Francis "long wires" 21 circuit kit looks nice. Now, where are you folks been locating the ls1 or lt1 engine management module? I've searched, but I haven't had any hits. Has anyone located it in the engine compartment? I really need some ideas. 1 tuff z Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 mine is under the dash, specifically on the right side parallel to the car length under the far right side of the glovebox. tucks under there nicely, away from the elements. this shot will give you a decent idea of where. you can see the heater fan to the left... I've run it over this year in a variety of racing and always drive to the track on hots days, in the rain, etc with no problems.
