skully
OK, This Thread is starting because i was looking at my house on Zillow (http://www.zillow.com provides real estate market trends) and it uses MS Live Search Maps. I noticed my 280ZX Turbo in the driveway...so I thought this would be a cool thread to see other Z's found on sat pics. There are a few ways to check an address out - 1. Google Maps (http://www.maps.google.com) 2. Yahoo Maps (http://www.maps.yahoo.com 3. MSN Maps (http://www.maps.live.com) Check both bird's eye view and aerial as they have different times when they were taken and the 'bird's eye' has better clarity for viewing 4. Mapquest (http://www.mapquest.com) Can you spot your Z or someone you know's Z - ? To get the picture to upload -I just get a screen print (print scrn button) and then paste into paint. Then crop out what I don't need and save as JPG to the PC. (for those who don't know how to do that part)

Unfortunately I haven't been able to work on it in the past two months...I hope glenn doesn't mind. all it needs is the exhaust to be tweaked a bit, and to find out what happened to the starter relay. X64v
This is really neat, but also kind of creepy...How does google do this? They drive around with cameras on top of cars and just take pictures of everything in view from the road.
blue72
Holy crap, the Google street view camera drove down my street. That's pretty surprising for a town of about 2,000 people in rural Utah. It even looks like they knocked over my garbage can too, but my Z was elusive that day apparently. I did manage to find one of the only other 240Z's in town though. I've only ever seen it on a trailer as I drive by.

I'm glad to have what I have but it's kinda lame getting it into the driveway every time I wanna work on it. Oh but when i have the garage for a night it's such a treat. Thats true, my house does not show my garage I built a year and a half ago in arial view. But the birds eye view does.
ShaggyZ
Well, now I know where I can steal some Z parts.
zeeboost
Lol, well, the brown 280zxt I was forced to get rid of by the GM (eye sore), so that's somewhere out in a field right now. The gray v8 you'd have to break-in to the body shop that it's been sitting in for the last year and a half, and there probably aren't any parts on the Widebody that would interest you...maybe the Corvette IRS? If you can get that thing out of there, then you've earned it. Maybe it will motivate me to throw the R230 in there BTW, the blue Z is currently being painted - I hope to have it for sale in the next couple of months...took me long enough.
