Challenger
I really like the upper grille portion, not so much the bottom. Keep up the good work!
jdizzy204
looks like youve got the gc10 front end feel goin on. i am looking forward to see how it turns out.

AK-Z
Looks good. Bottom just needs to be more shapely IMO. Its your car, make it the way you want it
MastersMechanic
I am waiting for the foam to make it more shapely trying for ideas on the bottom section. here is where I got the Idea
jdizzy204
are u using hdf board to shape it?
MastersMechanic
Ya! I just remodled our kitchen, and it was left over. It takes forever to shape with a 40 grit long board but it is cheap. I hope that I can pull a couple facias from it before it distorts to much(deer country). rturbo 930
Definitely creative, and by itself I think it looks good, however, I don't think a flat and square front end fits on a Z, which is neither a flat nor square in design. I'm interested to see how it's going to turn out.
MastersMechanic
That's what my wife said. but she also said she liked it better with the straight six.
garvice
I hate it. No apologies (You asked what we think). I think the look works with sedan coupes (I.E. Cars thats are more like a 2 door coupe version of a sedan), not on an s30 that has always been a coupe. It looks good, just not on an s30. capt_furious
Interesting! The lower half should cover the front of the wheels if you're making your own, however. Stop by the windtunnel section when you get a chance and check out all of the findings with regard to front end aero. I'm getting a distinct Jensen Healey Interceptor / Celica fastback vibe from it. Not sure if the end result is going to look right, but as long as it can be reversed, go for it!
Jesse OBrien
I think that shape for the lights would work MUCH better on the rear of a Z, as a brake light panel rather than a front end. It definitely does look remind me of my Celica fastback though.
capt_furious
And then there's the Australian E49 Charger R/T... Inline six, triple sidedrafts, fastback, blunt nose, long hood, short rear deck, bobbed tail. Really wish the Chrysler A-bodies had been developed to this standard stateside. I had a chance to trade my '72 Fury for one of the lesser models of these and kick myself to this day for not pulling the trigger on it. JSM
I really like your work, but I don't care for the design much at all. If you could some how tranfer the lines of a 350z front end onto the front of an old Z, that would be interesting.
Globerunner513
I have conflicting thoughts... On the one hand, I LOVE the way that front end looks. With the long front end, and the little hood scoop...just superb! On the other hand...its a Z, and to me, contrasts just a little bit sharply with the slow curves of the rear. Hard to say though...I'll be interested in seeing it completed for sure!
AK-Z
idk. reminds me of the 1200
piston
i dont know if the front flat face look is going to match the z.
