81 280zx non-turbo part swap?

Ok I have a lot of questions to ask to who may know this info so I'll try to be as most specific as possible.

First question can a 1981 280zx turbo hood & front/rear bumpers fit on a 81 non turbo 280zx? The same goes to the 82-83 280zx's parts for the 81 280zx's.

If so is there some modifications I have to do or will they just bold right on?

The early S130 bumper is a one piece wrap-a-round. The later style is a three piece. I know there is is a difference between the fenders but I am not sure what exactly. You might have to drill or fill holes. lower valance might be different also. I recomend changing it all for ease of installation. Mounting is all the same. The hoods mount the same. The turbo hood is on all 82-83 S130.

I've done the bumper swap on my 81'. Pretty straight forward, there is drilling involved if you want the rear side pieces to mount up correctly, and the front involves carefully removing tabs off the fenders (welded or glued..can't remember) and bolting them to yours. I didn't drill the new holes in my quarters so my rear side pieces just kind of sit there...you can't tell the difference tho. The hood is a bolt on affair.

Do not get aftermarket fenders or hood that says this part is from overseas. It means "aftermarket" and the fit is crappy to say the least and the metal if you can beleive it is thinner..i have a "aftermarket" Fender on mine just leaning on it dents it. It sticks out about 1/4 inch from the door skin and there is no more adjustment available.

You can make them look good. It just takes some persuasion.

pics of ya'lls mods? i am restoring an 81 for my sister and have a nice 83 body so far ive got the hatch swapped (old one was hit) and the hood (cause it looks better). Also the 81 is primer black and the donor/83 is gloss so i like the shiny/flat contrast so i figured id go ahead and swap the bumpers as well if they were a simple bolt one cause theyre nice and glossy as well as the "chrome" on the stock 81's is kinda crappy/scratched. thanks -Jeff

So I finally just put a new rear bumper off my 83 280zx donor car onto my 81 280zx and I just did a bit of cheap effort to modify the two pieces that go with the bumper since it's a 3 piece I used zip ties lol but that's only temporary until I finish my car, so here they are a few pics of what it looks like before and after

before

after

when I took my bumper off it was the same fitment to the 83 but on the rear inner fender it had pre-drilled rounded holes from factory and on the 83 to fit the extra two pieces that go on each side theres two holes also in the same place but there squared holes so I'll have to find some way to make em look stock like they do now except without the zip ties lol please don't judge my crappy effort only if you feel like you need to.
