Cleve, What's up? I don't know if you remember me. Back in 95 I worked at z service unlimited. You had that nice Blue 240 that you built that stroker for. Long time no see

Steve Heutter (green Gumby 240) and I work together now, stop on by sometime.

You'll also need to post some numbers that show it actually improves performance. Although many will still be intersted cause it's pretty. Haha

Numbers will be coming as soon as I complete the transplant...I found my test mule (Clifton's '71 track car) and she should be pretty quick...only 2077lbs.

Very interested....isn't that the one z from ebay 700-800hp or what not....does it really have that much power I saw it on ebay a while back

Yep, that's the one. Built by World Wide Racing in Miami. I'll get some numbers as soon as I install it in the road race chassis.

How do you plan on testing the power difference between the stock manifold and the one you plan on reproducing? I also think you should test it on an engine that is a little more practicle. Maybe an L28ET that the average Z enthusiast would build.

HeyCleve & pat1:

I used to be a customer of Thomas' back in the mid 90's, and my niece used to date Paul who worked for him for sure in his next business, but also I think at Z Service.

I remember when it was just off Atlanta Road - can't remember what the street was, but most of my work was done at the South Cobb Drive location.

This was when I had a condo and no garage.

Now only daily drivers go to the shop...

Nice to know some more of you still around!
