logan1
Found this video on streetfire and was wondering if Pnut was a member here on the forum or if anyone had more information about this car? Definitely looks like an expensive/interesting build. http://www.streetfire.net/video/pnuts-812whp-2jz-powered-turbo-datsun-280z_2203177.htm Edited February 22, 2011 by logan1
MazterDizazter
That much HP in an S30 chassis is scary to think about, lol. Too bad it's not a track car...
Lucifersam
there is no way he has enough mechanical grip on those tires to use that power
Pharaohabq
I think he's lucky it didn't go boom...
gtikyle
I think he's lucky it didn't go boom... Boom? What are you referring to? I hope the rear end, because a 2JZ is just getting started at those power levels...
ModernS30
I think he's lucky it didn't go boom... Before I left New Mexico I had gone to the SQC Motiva dyno day and BBQ. A super with a stock bottom end make over 700WHP. Built 3.4 stroked 2jz's can handle almost 2000hp.
sq_creations
That datsun makes me gitty. I may have to turn mine up more. lol
OustedFairlady
Have a friend with a '94 Supra making 620 at the wheels on a stock block 2JZ. Highest recorded horsepower on a 2JZ was 1930, I think. I may be mistaken, but IIRC, that was an aussie tuning company that used a stock block JZ. Yeah, I'm a Supra guy. I have three.
NicksT04=S30
keep the 2JZ's in the Supra's and build RB's for a Nissan/Datsun
thehelix112
keep the 2JZ's in the Supra's and build RB's for a Nissan/Datsun Whilst thats my personal preference too, I think you might wanna watch the relatively-easily-to-misconstrue-as-dissing of the premise of this forum: Swapping different engines from different manufacturers into Zed cars is cool . Just my opinion. Dave
Trbulnt
keep the 2JZ's in the Supra's and build RB's for a Nissan/Datsun Are we not a forum called HybridZ?
