WELL????????????

When the z is at operating temp the oil ppressure is between 10 and 15 psi. The oil pump was in the the mistery short block before I got it so I dont know if it was a high or low volume pump. At start up it is around 40 psi but once the car goes to 190 degress the oil pressure is LOW! The guage is an Auto Meter mechanical that is brand new so I no its not the guage. What do you guys think I should do ??????

Thats funny! I did the same thing the other day with my wifes car. Its an 01 Mustang Gt with a exhaust/k &n. The car runs 14.30's so its not a slug. But when I drove the stang right after the Z I could not believe the diffence in acceleration from the 2 cars!Hers felt like it was towing a trailor or something!

Thanks guys, looks like I am going to need about 310 or so hp to the wheels to get an 11.99 et. Once the car is tuned I think it should be right in that ballpark.

I am still having problems getting my megashifter to work the way it is suppose too. If I want first gear then it wont engage park. Then if I get it to work in park it wont be in first when I rachet down! I have the 700r4 and the pin is removed that it says to do. My dad is having the same problems with his pro stick and 700r4 combo. Its like the cable is just a hair to short or something?????

Weird, Mine feel fine on the freeway? The local dyno guy in this area runs them on his car and swears by them.

Davy, I am running a TPI 700r4 with a 2000 stall. Works real good. I will probably go to a 3000 or so stall in the future.

Yeah , I hope so. I will going for a dyno pull within the next couple off weeks to see where I am at with this sucker. I still dont like the 5/16 outlet on the tank! For some reason I feel like that could be holding it back

I am not sure of the weight of the car yet but its a 70 240. I plan to get the car on the dyno and am curious on hp it needs for 11's. I am running soft rear coilovers and drag radials so traction should not be a problem.

Man, I wonder if the secondays on mine are not opening up as well. I mean the car is fast but it just seems like it should be faster. All I hear is how everyone is having big time traction problems and mine just squats and goes? I am running drag radials but it just seems like I should be smoking the tires a little????? I just changed the secon- dary spring to the lightest so I will se if that does anything.

Len, What did you do to keep that rear end from wraping up? The cable deal for me didnt work to well. It just loosened up and the wrap was back!

I cant figure out if they are coming in or not? I car is very fast but it almost feels like they sec's never open up or are not fully. The carb is a 3310 holley out of the box. I am thinking I might need to get the quick change kit to play with the sucker. I feel like I am in the same boat as BLK MGK now!

I was coming out of the grocery store and I see a guy getting into a white TT supra . We both exit the parking lot at the same time and would you know it we hit the same lite together! What sucks is I was in my wifes 01 Stang GT and not the Z! Oh well, We both didnt look at each other but we knew it was on! As soon as the light goes green we both get in it hard! I could not beleive it that I pulled a car in him in first and held that lead until the top of second gear. Then about mid way in third gear he starts to walk me pretty hard . We ran up to around 0 to 75 or so. I thoght he would have been alot faster? All I know is that if my Z was there I would have smoked him for sure!

I bet you will be in the low 12's /high 11's with that combo easy! It will take one stout rice mobile to run with ya!
