  1. Paul, Thanks a bunch! I will use this for my guide when doing future tuning. I am curious how much power I will pick up going from 10.0's across the board to 12.5 to 13.0 at WOT.
  2. Thanks for the insight Pete. I drilled the blades and that helped a bunch! But the carb is way rich at wot. I will play with the jets for a while and see what I come up with.
  3. The carb is a 3310 s vac sec Holley. It is straight out of the box. I beleive the jets are 72's and not sure on the p/valve.
  4. Looks good! What lenght coilover are you using? 8 or 10"? My 5" bs seem to be the max for my set up. Looks like there is maybe about a 3/8's or so clearence from the tire sidewall to the coilover.
  5. I am from stockton. About 45 mins south of Sac.
  6. After my run on the dyno and finding out that my 750 was pig rich. I have to decide on if I should jet down my 750 or get a 650 or 670 carb. My a/f ratio was 10 to 1 across the board. Need some ideas here guys?????
  7. For max hp what do you guys feel is the optimal a/f ratio for a n/a motor? Is it the standard 14.7 or is 13 or 13.5 better? The local dyno guy told me to look for around 13. Whats your opinion?
  8. Mine is for street/strip duty.
  9. Sorry Guys I wish I could have gone but I was on the Rubicon Trail with my Big Block Jeep! Hopefully, there will be another one soon.
  10. Black, Something has to going on with your rear set up to be going threw u joints like that. There is to many fast cars that run the u joints without problem(noszcar and 1fastz). Both those cars goes 9's and are not breaking the joints like you are????Is your diff mount fliped the right direction? When I first put mine in I noticed that the shafts had some angle on them. I then flipped the mount the other direction and everything lined up perfect.
  11. Nice! You ride hauls major bottie!
  12. Thanks guys , I will give it a shot.
  13. Cam is 236 at 050 with 490 lift. The idle is erratic both in gear and in park. I also have a 2000 rpm converter is way to tight from what I have been told. Should have between 2800 to 3000 stall. I tried drilling the throttle blades with 1/16" holes but this didnt seem to help much. When the car is idleing in park it will slowly start to creep down in rpm's. Idle speed is set at about 750 in park. When I put it in drive it lugs down bad and wants to die.
  14. Anyone running a 700r4 with a Holley 4150 Double pumper? Is there to much throw in the linkage for the 700's tv cable????
  15. I have never been able to get the idle right in my 3310 holley. Could a blown power valve affect the idle?
  16. Hey John, Can you post any pics of the work you have done? That would be sweet!
  17. I cant wait to smoke my first S2000.
  18. Hey when you guys get this figures out please give some part #'s and pics so I can copy! I dont feel good about my motor as well with the 5/16" outlet.
  19. Both my 240 and my dad's 280 have steering wheel shimmy while driving at normal speeds(40 to 60). I know it could be a million things that cause it but does anyone have any suggetions to rid our cars of it.
  20. I plan on doing the same thing on my z. Should be easy and cheap.
  21. I am tired of dealing with my 3310 Holley and am thinking about going to the 770. What do you guys think? Or maybe a edelbrok 750? I know the 770 is a little big for my set up now but the next motor will be a stroker
  22. I cant decide what one I want to go with yet. Pics of them on cars would be great. I would really like to see pics of the 1420 cause I have yet to see it. Thanks
  23. It jumps up quick to like 25 or 30 psi at 2000rpm. I am thinkin I will run it till she goes! Then I can build the shortblock I have always wanted!
  24. Owen, I am with you I hate the ducts! I like the look of the 1401 on your car. Tomahawk , I have the catalog. I just want to see them on real cars.
