  1. John, That is the one I want. Is it the same one that MSA sells ??
  2. OK, Here is what I found out. My dad has the JTR adaptor and it is the same as mine 2-2-459! What is needed is a ROUND yoke from an 280z. I have the box shaped yoke on my 200 and it is WRONG! Also you need one that has the 8mm holes and not the 10 mm.
  3. OK guys, I looked at my adaptor and the part number is 2-2-459! Hers the thing, it has the 2.25 pilot and the 1310 joint size cross but it has the small bolt holes and tighter bolt pattern that blots it to the yoke. It work perfect with my R180 but will not for the R200! I am going to the driveshaft shop right now to figure this thing out!!!!!!!!!
  4. I saw a spoiler that had much less sharp lines than those ones? Is that the one you are talking about Pete?
  5. Racer x, that is what I am lookin for / any pics?
  6. Does anyone have any pics I can see? I have heard these look the best.
  7. Someone on the board awhile back posted the part # for the adaptor to the driveline. Well I went to the local driveshaft shop and they had the part # . Well, the one I got will fit the R180 but not the 200. It has the 2.25 pilot but it has the small bolt holes and tighter 4 hole pattern that bolts the drivline to the flange. Does anyone know the Neapco part # for the the one that fits the r200? I think the one I got has # 599 in it???
  8. Got them last nite! 235/60/15's BFR drag radials. These suckers are so soft! Should hook like a mad dog.
  9. Thanks guys, I will go for the polys. Does MSA sell the bushings? Part #'s?
  10. I finally got the r200 mustache bar to complete my swap. The bars bushings look to be cracked and torn. The r180 bar that I have looks like near new cond. How are they replaced? Large press? They look to be the same size?
  11. With 6" collars ground control says 7" from the bottom. This is supposed to give you from stock ride height to 2.5 drop. This is with a 10" spring
  12. John, How far do they stick out from the fenders? I was thinking about going with 8.5's with 5" bs but thought they would stick out of the fenders a little. I have an unflaired 240. Thanks
  13. I have had just the opposite experience with my Griffin. That thing was too thick and the blk mjc fan had a hard time pulling air through it. With the Cam fan if was thin enough for the fan too pull the air though. The sucker worked great!
  14. The KYB's are oil. If they were gas I think they would go to full extension as soon as you pulled them out. I not going to section the struts and am only doing coilovers in the rear of the Z.
  15. I got the nut off. Is there suppose to be any fluid in the strut tube? I pulled out the carts and they were KYB's. I wiped them down and they looked like new. I also cycled them up and down and they feel fine. I think that the original struts must have leaked and the fluid was never drained out of the tubes when the previous owner put in the KYB's.
  16. Do you think they will fit with 235's or 245's with coilovers and no flares?
  17. The top nut on mine have a 4 way key type set up. No regular wrench will work. Is there a specail tool for this sucker????
  18. I just cut off the factory rear coil perchs to install the coilovers. To disassemble the strut, Do I just unscrew the top portion of the strut? Do I need a special tool???
  19. Hey nice to meet ya! I would say Bruce's or Crevello's. What do you have done to your z? V8 ,turbo 6 , pumped 3 liter??????
  20. I am installing the ground control coilvers right now and am wondering were your guys weld the ring at on these cars. I have a 70 240z. The instruc- tions say to weld it at 7" from the bottom but I have heard of people using the factory perch weld also. My car will have 26" tall tires in the rear. If I were to use the factory weld I would have to cut the sleeve down about 1.5". What do you guys think? If I use the factory weld the that is 9" from the bottom. I am thinking that with 26" tall tires I am not really going to want to set it in that low postion that ground control says too? Any help would be great!
  21. Do you have to remove the stub axle to replace the studs?
  22. Thanks Davy for the kind words about my dad's z. His garage makes me sick too! Its so clean. Mine should be on the road within 6 weeks or so. I plan on going to the pizza and beer thing in the bay. See ya, z ya
  23. I am glad you guys got a chance to pick up those parts from my dad. His car is pretty sweet huh! I wish you guys could have came over and checked out my z!
  24. I have some spintech prostreets 2.5 in/out but they have not been installed yet. I also have an x pipe and an H. Just cant decide what sound I want for the Z?
  25. Dan, talked to Eric yesterday at Zparts. He is a rally nice guy. Both both of us could not figure out the solution. If anyone has one, I need an r200 yoke with small bolt holes and a 2.25 pilot!
