o i know i'm not being bias. the question was just out of curiosity. i have already ordered sds i just dont have my car together and the question was made mainly out of pure conversation. and on the jacking of own thread. i get very ADD and impatient and just want to talk to knowledgeable people about everything.

just out of curiosity what kind of power numbers are each one of you guys making?

no one here using SDS. i know of a few and it would be appreciated if someone could help us two out and i am sure there are a few hybrid z stalkers out there that would like to know as well. thanks

i've talked to a few guys running SDS and i think that is the way i am going to go but really and truly wiring is my weakest point in rebuilding my ZX. i really would like to know what did most of you do to prep the engine bay and motor to receive the SDS system (i.e. what wires did you strip out of engine bay and what do you connect or do with all the dash harness stuff that connects to the engine harness) i guess i am just in the dark about how to wire the car up because it seems so intimidating with all the wires and stuff. anyways any help would be better than none and a jump-start of the knowledge of SDS on this site would be awesome for everyone. thanks

i'll for sure take some front coilovers. i think i might still do the s13 rear coilovers though unless they have a full rear set up. the way it looks there are still a lot to make the rears work even with that coilover set up that zcc has. thanks and looking forward to hear some prices

i like the idea i hate the carpet at the bottom of the factor ones so this sounds like a great idea. i'll take a set. i would like the arm rest and the power window switch. i would like it to be as close to factor without being factory if that makes sense. thanks ill talk to you guys about it later

is it four lug or five? there are a ton of people trying to find was to convert over to five lug. Just a thought

tell you guys the truth i haven't been on here in a while and i looked and couldn't believe this thread was still going. i created it forever ago and i am just happy as can be at how many s130 lovers there are out there. i thought most favored the s30 but turns out there are still a lot of s130 fans out there. on another note you guys should check out the group buy section where they are trying to get the zx g nose over to the states. if it is possible i am going to get one.

I'm guessing it's all fiberglass, correct. just wondering ball park what are you looking to get for it?

i love all the pictures. i especially love the s130's so that is why i made this thread and now it is blowing up and i can not show you guys how excited i am that i am not the only one who enjoys the ZX's over the Z's. i will post pics of my motor and head machine work here as soon as i get it back and next week i hope to re-spray the interior and i will post pics of that. until next time keep up the s130 talk

just wanted to say this has been down for a while then all of a sudden there is a ton of s130 lovers i haven't even heard from. but yes silver 280zx i go to UGA but my car doesn't run right now it is sitting at my parents house in pieces as you see it in those photos and the motor is in marietta. but yeah i have to work 6-11pm on Monday the 7th but i will swing by afterwards if you guys are still there.

mack please get those pics up soon. A lot of people would like to see those coilovers, including me. thanks for the idea though i will look into it.

yes all those things that the s30 has that no one carred to consider for the s130 would be nice

To MACK: yeah i am going with the z32 transmission and i am going to make my own coilovers like slown'rusty. i am going with a ld28 crank and l28 rods and forged 87mm pistons. i also have z31 brakes all around with rx7 alluminum 4 piston in front and stock 280zx calipers in the rear. And B sosick: who are you talking to about buying the headlight covers?

this is the look i am going to go with i am going to fill in the holes between the headlight buckets and the fiberglass lip

Rontyler i have a question for you or anyone who may know? i just started a thread on this subject so if we can figure it out here i will just post a link i was just wondering if you got rid of all the junk and the passenger side fender (carbon canister, vacuum pump, cruise control) or if you placed it somewhere else? that's all and if you did delete these items did you have to make up for them by installing something else? thank you

i was just wondering i have found some threads and some pics about how to and what way to clean up an engine bay. BUT i was wondering if it were any different for a 280ZX s130? i know in my car i have i guess u guys would call a carbon canister and the little vacuum thing right next to it and i was noticing in some or the earlier Z's that they did not have them. so i guess my question is can i just delete that whole side of the engine bay (carbon canister, vacuum thing, and the cruise control solenoid)? any info is better than none. so thanks in advance.

i was just letting you guys know that i am working on completely disassembling the car. i will take pics tomorrow and post them later i figured i would just bump the thread for more activity

i got my transmission back from mazworx and i will post some pics of everything in a few days i guess if anyone is interested
