  1. But seriously Slammed68 what size wheels are those. Perfect fitment and stance. Love it. - Lindsey
  2. I hear you. Mine was put on hold while in college. I finally picked it back up and it should be back from paint and body by mid December. I have the motor put back together ready to be put in the car with the z32 Trans and new mounts. Just slow, slow, slow. But it's best to do it right one time and take a while, than doing it multiple times. Good luck.
  3. Sounds good. Just keep us updated. Good luck, Lindsey
  4. Any pics of the finished set up? behind the wheel? and from the engine bay? Thanks for all of this. It's an awesome set up. What size wheels and tires are you running? -lindsey
  5. Keep me updated on your progress. I would like to see what you come up with. Pictures always help...haha Thanks and good luck, Lindsey
  6. Looks good man. When you say correction, what exactly did you do to make the correction? Thanks for the pics btw. Also what size wheels (ex: 18x9.5 -20)and tires (ex: 245/45/18) are you running?
  7. Yeah. But now what did he run for coilovers? Just seems like you can't do one without having all sorts of work to do the other. (Plus just seems like you would have a mis matched set of coilovers, whereas the other guy had a full set of s13 coilovers). I was liking what Mack has done here http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/76341-s13-coilovers-s130-chassis/page__p__726579__hl__mack__fromsearch__1#entry726579 any input on this?
  8. I had a guy in Marietta, GA that did mine for me, but I think he died. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/rwdawg2/Zmotorpics015.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/rwdawg2/Zmotorpics006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/rwdawg2/Zmotorpics005.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/rwdawg2/Zmotorpics008.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/rwdawg2/Zmotorpics002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/rwdawg2/Zmotorpics001.jpg
  9. Can you take some new pictures of everything behind the brake rotors. Maybe even try and list some parts that aren't original ZX parts? Everything looks great is the reason I ask, just want to duplicate a bit with parts we have here in our area. Thanks, Lindsey
  10. What did you use to swap it over to a five lug (front and rear)? It looks kind of like a s13/s14 spindle with some z32 brakes up front. I have been looking into doing this but have found out that it does produce a lot of positive camber. What did you do to correct this issue? Thanks, Lindsey
  11. .... saw there was a second page I would like to come across that thing on I85 one day, haha Thanks for the videos, and breakdown. Lindsey
  12. Here is one for sale if anyone has any interest still (In the Southeast). http://atlanta.craigslist.org/wat/pts/1932167776.html
  13. I'm about to buy a 82 ZX parts car. If you want it, it's yours. I'll figure out some shipping and that's all you would owe. I'll have to get the car first though. I'll let you know, if your interested. Thanks, Lindsey
  14. There 17" wheels are 40lbs a piece. That's crazy. I guess you still get to make your own offsets/backspacing so that's nice for what you are paying for. Not a bad alternative to custom wheels if you don't mind the weight. -Lindsey
  15. Yeah, smaller side walls or smaller widths, also you could probably clear those with some negative camber. Looks more aggressive, but wears the tires unevenly. Up to you really, what you are going for (look wise). Car looks great by the way. -Lindsey
  16. When is the megasquirt 3 supposed to be released?
  17. I am located in North GA. I got a quote from a guy of 8-10k for my 1982 280zx and it has some surface rust on the drivers side panels, a couple of dents and a few scratchs. This includes stripping the car down to metal, body work, priming, and painting (two tone, black and silver). What do you guys think? Reasonable, or too high? Thanks.
  18. I am looking for some ZG flares for my 280zx. I am also looking for some early model 280zx bumpers (1979-1980 I believe). Thanks, Lindsey
  19. Where in Atlanta do you live? I would like to come by and take a look at your work, and talk Z's one weekend.
  20. Also check this out. See what you guys thought of this? http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/76341-s13-coilovers-s130-chassis/page__st__20__gopid__845557&
  21. Bringing this old thread back to life again since the guys over at the S130 suspension tech started to talk more about the 280zx suspension upgrades. Any input would be great. Thanks
  22. I've seen this thing drift and it's badass. That or the driver one. Could be a combo of both.
  23. Take lots and lots of pictures and post directions, step by step if possible. People can always use good, detailed, write-ups. Thanks and good luck.
  24. I'm with this guy. Why would you not be able to do something like this, or even just weld in an extra 1.25" into the control arm to extend the arm to accept the geometry of the 240sx spindles? OR if MACK could just share some knowledge we can all do this. LOL. Thanks.
  25. I was wondering this myself. Has anyone made any further progress? Pictures? And what is the deal with the longer tie rod? Any updates on this MACK?
