I am doing a Buick V-6 swap. So, the owners manual tells you what each relay is for, but the Factory Service Manual doesn't? Well, that sucks. The FSM wiring diagram doesn't show what a lot of the wires are for in my Z. It's a pain to trouble shoot. !M!

The stock headlight switch will turn on the relay, which will then turn on your headlights. EDIT: Look at this link here and you will have a better understanding of how a relay works. You could check out the link that Owen posted, but then you might think a relay is a bunch of naked chicks doin' it. !M!

That's the way they are. Also, you might think that there is a slight toe problem when looking at the rear wheel from above the quarter panel, but there isn't. !M!

Going through my electrical on the Z, I was taking stuff out I didn't need. Without ripping out the dash and uncovering the wiring harness to trace the wires, would anybody be able to tell me what these are? Also, right above #5, there is yet another relay. So, six of them on the kick panel and one in the engine bay. The FSM doesn't show what these are. Also, this is for a '73. Engine bay Kick panel relays 1 Kick panel relays 2 !M!

Make them work . So what headlights did you get? !M!

Don't know yet, still waiting to pick it up. I am going through a friend of a freind and he said he would give me a good deal. So I figure $150 or less. I did not want to go with a external because of the noise, since this will be 90% street car. So this tank offers the best of everything. When I remove the spare tire well, I'll make a hinged door above the module so I don't have to drop the tank if I have problems down the road or if I want to change pumps. I just need the tank! I've been waiting for a while I have my digital camera back from repair, so I will be taking lots of pictures of the install. !M!

Yeah, *in my best southern drawl "Git 'er dun!" The tank will be mounted like Mikes "mas280". I got the idea from him. The way the tank is set up is perfect! The plastic tank offers a "coffee can" inside with a check valve on the bottom along with a venturi system on the pump (which sits inside the coffee can). It's pretty cool. Hard cornering and hard acceleration will not uncover the pick up. This I like. The pace has picked up quite a bit the last week. This weather is AWSOME! (right now I have to work outside) Tommorow, I should have the APV moved to behind the drivers seat and the Caspers harness installed. Then I'm just waiting on my LS1 Camaro tank to be picked up. I think I'm just going to let the subframe connectors go untill next year. I'm not going to need them this year anyways. So, this should save me some time. It's coming together! I made myself a goal to meet Scottie down in Reynolds a while back, and right now I think I can make it IF everything works out in my favor (which has never happened in my life) We'll see... Oh, the paint on the suspension is Cobalt blue. I LOVE the electric blue colors. Since my last car was painted a similar color, I wanted that color on my next car. So I painted ALL the suspension parts Cobalt blue and ALL the drivetrain parts a flat black. Kind of a neat contrast. !M!

Nah, it's okay. The way I figure is when I mash the go pedal, the rear wheels will straighten out and work just fine. !M!

Well, I figured out what's up with my computer, so here are some pictures 8) Here's the engine bay right now Here is most of the wiring that was deleted. About half a paper bag full! This is the LSD with 3.54 gears And here is the LSD installed Oh, and just for kicks, I decided to make my Z 4 wheel steering !M!

What will it be made out of? !M!

Picked up some nylock nuts in 14mm x 1.50 and they worked out great. Thanks again guys. !M!

13.6 is all they can muster? Pretty sad. !M!
