  1. Hey guys, I know this is an old posting, but I wanted to do my searching first. Do you think using JB Weld in the engine bay side walls and firewall would be good? I don't have a welder, and am trying to find a good way to smooth out my engine bay while the engine is out. Thanks!
  2. Some very nice cars! I really like the green porsche, the bel air, and the mg v8. My friend and his dad built an mgb 71 with a heavily modded engine and chassis, it handles great. I can't wait for the Pismo Beach show in a month.
  3. Ya, that's not exactly good... I am planning on doing 2-3 weeks when I graduate college! Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy
  4. Went to Oakland to see the Sox get swept, again by the A's. Happened in a 4 game sweep last year, and the Sox still won the World Series, so it's looking good now. haha
  5. Hey guys, Just wanted to say thanks for this site. I met a new friend today from the forums that I would not have met in town. We had lunch, checked out his Z on MSnS, then checked out my stock 260 waiting to lose its engine. All I needed was a couple hours by myself to get the tranny unhooked and the engine out, but he said we could do it in an hour.... an hour later the l26 was sitting on the engine hoist! Thank you hybridz for bringing people together, and thank you calpoly-z for all your help. I'm sure we will get more times to help each other with their cars. Heres a link to my quick site, at the bottom theres the link to the engine removal process. http://cloutierjoe.googlepages.com/home
  6. I think most people have put the AFM in front of the turbo air inlet.
  7. Thats the plan for my 260z. Either just carpet, or a piece of sheetmetal wrapped around part of the top.
  8. I'm very jealous... I can't wait to get out of school and travel and buy cars. Congrats on a nice purchase. Do you have any pics?
  9. Probably pay the bill for my stupid Volvo that keeps throwing an engine light and the shop can't fix it for more than a month.
  10. Hey guys, I remember a thread about signing and sending petitions to stop the California Emissions Law on older vehicles. Haven't seen an update on here so thought I'd share.. http://www.streetlegaltv.com/forum/muscle-car-emission-laws-stopped-cold-353.html
  11. Be fun to buy some and put them on peoples cars.
  12. Do you have a shop manual, they got some specifications in there.
  13. I think the date on the TV said June 06.
  14. I believe a popular one is from Jegs or Summit.... I think its Griffin?
  15. Ya it is. Unfortunately Mondays in America doesn't always have newer Top Gears and are mostly re-runs.
  16. This thread is better with Videos! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmYibCSrOMg
  17. Anyone watch the Top Gear today? Jeremy Clarkson was wearing a Z Hawaiian style shirt.
  18. Hi, I don't have much help for your post, but I was wondering if you're still near SLO. I am still at Poly, and starting an engine swap soon. PM me or email me at jcloutie@calpoly.edu
  19. CA Coast + 85 degrees - Z without engine = unhappy xxjoeyxxeb
  20. Oh man, thats crazy! Pretty late for a snow time. I remember when I had to live through that, but now I go to school in Cali.... was kinda chilly the past few days in the low 70's but 85 today and its pretty sweet.
  21. Yes, not the best english... but I don't get the Cajun man reference, if it's supposed to be the Adam Sandler then that reference doesn't work.
  22. wow! I love the Aston and the black Ferrari! Where was this? San Luis Obispo needs to have more shows like this.
  23. Yes, group hug, handshake, high five. Didn't have to be taken that harshly. I liked a lot of scenes... -When the 3 guys are drinking at the bar and the newly-wed guy is talking about how dirty some sexual acts are. -His crying bits -The big Hawaiin dudes, pretty much anytime they were in the movie. The preview movie with Seth Rogan seems pretty funny too. Anyone know if the guys from Super Troopers and Beerfest are making the Potfest movie they hinted to at the end of Beerfest? I also watched Sweeny Todd the other night. For me, it was difficult hearing everything since it was a musical and the background music seemed kind of loud. But it got good about halfway through and was pretty well made.
  24. I was just going along with what you said, no disrespect. There is a time where things aren't as funny as people once thought they were.
