  1. I have an ECU and AFM from a turbo manual car. AFM works, but not 100% sure the ECU is good. I had issues and didn't know if it was ECU or Wiring so I switched to MS and so far it seems better. Since I'm not sure about the ECU we could just cost shipping. PM me for more info.
  2. Hey guys, Finally got some time this morning to build my exhaust. I've got MSA 2.5" downpipe from the turbo, a 4" gradual expansion to 3" all the way back through a Borla XR-1 muffler. It sounds VERY nice and throaty. Now I can finally get some tuning done and enjoy almost 2 years of work. Here's a short video.
  3. Hey, Thanks! They will most likely be random gifts for my parents. My Dad is a car guy and would love it, and my Mom and stepfather always like anything I build and we have a game room that it would go well in. I would also keep 1 or 2 for myself to keep in the game room or garage, when I graduate and get a place. I'll probably start these in January when I get more time and I'll keep you all updated. Anything extra, I might sell!
  4. Hey guys, I know many people here are great fabricators so I thought I'd start seeing what I can get out of here. I am looking at building a desk lamp, using some extra automotive parts, but I don't know anything about LED's. I am going to start searching about them soon, but I was trying to see if anyone here has done something like this and have any hints, tips, or information. I have been looking at: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=/MR16_specs.htm stuff and here is a main idea I've been looking at: http://www.motoart.com/lighting/radial-engine-piston-lamps
  5. Sorry dude, I have had my car sitting for about 2 months waiting for me to tune it. I have no time. I would love to, but just not feasible right now.
  6. Hey guys, A couple months ago CalPoly-Z and I wanted to play with my new-to-me mill. So we bought some Fuel Rail stock from ATP Turbo for $10/ft and made our own fuel rails for Supra 440c injectors. We did a little searching, and found that many people have discussed making their own, and after compiling some information, we built our fuel rails. Both of us have had these on our cars for about 2 months. Just thought we would share some drawings and pictures for anyone else searching to make their own rails in a couple hours and save some cash. If these JPEG's of the drawings don't work out good, I have the Part and Drawing Solidworks Files if you're interested.
  7. I'm not local, but I think I still have one from my early 74 260z. If you just cover shipping that'd be fine if it's what you need.
  8. I think I still have my cargo straps from an early 74 260z. Also have pretty much all the pieces for AC, and many brackets and other engine parts. PM or e-mail me for more.
  9. Nope not yet. Installed MS and just need time to tune it, then see if it was ECU or harness.
  10. I also have a 74 early 260z tank.
  11. Has anyone gotten this info for their car with Supra 440cc injectors? I've got MS1 v3.57 stock motor with these injectors.
  12. I've got all the pieces for the engine bay area. Not the stuff under the dash. But I do know someone with the interior stuff from a 77 280z.
  13. I kicked my ECU's a$$ and even tried a distributor from a running car. When we swapped the dizzy in, the timing did what it is supposed to, but the test drive still did the same sputtering when giving it a lot of throttle. It wasn't doing it all the time though, it seemed like 30-40% of the short pulls pulled pretty good, and the rest sputtered. We got back and checked the timing and it did about the same as before, where the idle was at about 20 deg, then went down with a rev to about 2000 rpm for 5 secs. Swapped back on my dizzy and it did what it is supposed to where it advances, but we didn't drive it again because we figured the dizzy is fine and it is either the ECU, or possibly the Balancer Pulley is slipping. I think we are going to start wiring the Megasquirt and see what happens...
  14. Thanks guys. I will toss my ECU around if I get around to it tomorrow or Friday. I have Megasquirt coming Friday so hopefully it doesn't take too long to get that up and running.
  15. UPDATE We changed the AFM direction and had the same problem. So we decided to check the timing again and it was still holding a constant 18-20 deg we set after multiple starts and short drives. But when given throttle, the timing would go down to about 8-10 deg then slowly go up to about 15 deg when held at 3000 rpm for about 10 seconds. Any ideas why it would be doing this? The main things that have not been changed out are the distributor and ECU. Thanks
  16. Really?! Right now I have mine turned probably 90degrees so the connector connects on the top of the AFM. I wonder if that is messing the the flapper? I will try to rotate it tonight and let you know. Strange... but thanks! haha
  17. UPDATE Still doing it. Got a new turbo, installed the Walbro fuel pump. And it's still sputtering when it gets heavy load into boost. FPR is from a working car, injectors flowed on our test bench. Will try swapping out the coil this weekend. Also have MS ordered.
  18. It's an upgraded 360 deg thrust bearing, and a machined housing for a larger compressor wheel. It was $695 for the whole turbo fully rebuilt and looks good as new.
  19. I've got a T-5 driveshaft from an 83 280zx coupe.
  20. Nevermind, its just an upgraded t3.
