i took a bench top drill press and 2.5" hole bit and drilled through the plate, then used the gasket over the hole to get my stud holes. took about 30 min all together.

oh..i've been dumpin money into a Z for a long time now....but it's gonna be nice to get some money back!

i had a login here a couple years back...but something was screwed up, and i couldn't create another unless i created a new e-mail cause the name was linked to my only one. everyone was telling me to join hybridz cause it has the most info. i mostly read the forums..not a whole lot of posting...and definately untilize the search feature on all forums i visit...mostly cause i'm impatient and want to know the answer right away. i know that pretty much everything i do has been done before.

my car was stolen and burned nov. 16, 2003. went to court 6 months later and the courts said the guy who did it owed me $10,000. i had pretty much forgotten about it until the other day...my parents called me saying they got a call from the court house in the town where it was found. i guess 4 restitution checks have been mailed but none deposited or returned and they were wondering why...and luckily they were able to get ahold of my parents (i have since moved to denver). all i gotta do now is send in a letter describing the case and my new address and they start mailin me the checks. it prob won't be much but i'll be getting installments of the $10,000. i had pretty much just chalked it up to a major loss and moved on.

the shop where i got my heims just tapped the ends for me....they could od whatever size pipe i wanted.

i wish we got as much snow up here as the springs did! i told ya prox....that looks like a good 4-5"...just enough to make the drive fun!

we got out snow up here too tuesday night...but not much stuck around...craziest thing was my commute wednesday morning was the quickest ever...and the roads had a bit on them...i'm still trying to adapt to this denver traffic.

the coil packs are getting power in the on position, and i just have the starter hard wired from the battery with a push button in line so i can turn it over while outside the car....so power to the packs never changes.

the car has been down for a while...ran before...i've been tryin to start it lately and it's givin me problems. it's not gettin any spark...i can crank and then right when it stops cranking there is one final spark, then crank and there is nothing and the minute you stop it sparks again. i have the SDS em4 6f in there and it ran fine before (7 months ago).

i've been on zcar (bama16) for many years now...but it's not the same forum...and my car has moved far beyond the routine questions on that site. so hybridz will be my new site for everything...including habitual visits. hope to learn lots more from all you guys.

i have a stock brake component 73 240z(booster, master, proportioning valves), i have the toyo fornt brakes and the 240sx rear disc. right not pedal pressure in the front is hard...and the rear discs aren't even clamping...i assume this is due to the fact that the 240 proportioning valve is designed for the small cyliner for the drums...and won't allow the necessary fluid for the larger piston on the sx caliper. is there a proportiong valve off another Z that i can use for the rear, or can i T the lines at the valve on the firewall and run the wilwood in line with the rear brake line?
