  1. i have the mms sx rear calipers and z31 rotors...and i've been readin that a lot of sx guys use z32 rear calipers...2 piston vs 1......it seems logical that if the sx calipers are setup to work..then the z32 would bolt right up...now i'm not at any point in my car that i need bigger rear brakes...but just wondering if it would work. i know the ebrake setup is dif but that's alright..i have a hydraulic parking brake, adj prop valve..i know the debate..pressure on the seals yada yada....not a dd at all...but would it work? i did a quick search and didn't see anything.
  2. it is good to stitch weld..weld a bit skip a section, weld some more skip and so on until you get it all welded solid...too much heat in a concentrated spot will warp it...i left a tiny bit of overlap..just cause trying to get the two to line up perfect and then weld is a major pita...i then hammered the back side down close and stitched the back..used some seam sealer for the areas between the welds.
  3. dang..you guys made those?! pretty slick! i'm likin roxz!
  4. no way!! i'd be way pissed...the hood was $210 then they charged for a box that was $25, and shipping came out way high at $150. your hood was next up...i just really like the stock hood....but your hood looks amazing...we'll see how it works out.
  5. here's mine...i just made it so it fit and could weld it up
  6. yeah....front edge is aligned with the buckets...i checked cause i was thinkin maybe they left extra so i could trim it to fit...but it's all lined up below.
  7. unlimited products...website is www.up22.com the more i look at it in the garage the more i get pissed...if i knew i was gonna get such poor quality i would have just spend a few more bux and bought a hood from beta. it'd be worth it..
  8. yep..brand new hood they had to "make" for my order. took em 3 weeks to turn out this thing...i'll call monday...i'm really not too impressed.
  9. i got my hood from unlimited products. a post on here and talking to people...i got pretty good feedback and everyone said it was a pretty nice piece. i got mine in yesterday..full pin on...and this is what i got...i know most fiberglass pieces state that they need work to fit properly...but is this how it's supposed to be? corner a little crooked...needs work corner gone...one armed man with a sawzall had a seizure. frame hits upper rad support and doesn't close all the way. do they all look like this? thier pic on the website whos a pretty nice complete piece...i just don't know if i should be pissed or should i expect this with a fiberglass piece. if not i'm gonna call and tell them they need to use pics of my hood for their display pic so people know to expect ♥♥♥♥...cause right now i'm pissed.
  10. i'll come pick up the 5 speed...i'm up in littleton so not too far away.

  18. i'm lookin to replace my urethane air dam....and a long time ago i saw a link to some that were pretty inexpensive...it was the xenon or however it's spelled brand....and the website was something like cheapspoilers.com or something to that affect. who has the least expensive urethane piece? this is on a 240z
  19. my grandfather used to sit in a tree with just a knife....then when one came under him he'd jump out and cut the throat...he was in some magazines for it.
  20. looks good! i always take a worm gear clamp and clamp it on the pipe...even in the bends it works well...then take a sharpie and draw a line...then cut it with the grinder and cut off wheel...
  21. as the title says...i'm puttin a hx35w in my 240z....the inlet for the oil feed line is a weird size and i'm trying to run SS -4 line as the feed (fixed ends). i've been searching the net and came across this. http://www.vwenthusiast.com/sootrocket/Holset/HX30_32_35_40.pdf and on page 14 it implies that the adapter would be m14x1.5...i know thati could drive to the hardware store and find a bolt and see if it threads right...which i might do...but does any one know for sure? if it is then i could just get this piece http://www.autometer.com/cat_accessoriesdetail.aspx?vid=57 and be done with it...looks easy enough
