  1. i ordered a russell...contacted them and they said it was designed for fuel injection.
  2. do you have a part # or a car it went to? i looked at some at the parts store but htey couldn't look up the part # to see the application so it didn't do me much good.
  3. who makes a good inline fuel filter (an or barb) for fuel inhjected that will see higher fuel pressure?
  4. ahhhh...well dang....guess one will go up on ebay...it took me while to find the old style wilwood with the knurled aluminum knob...i liked those better than the new ones. i'll prob just do something similar to was cygnus did....that was the plan from the get go anyway..but thought it'd be a lot of work to get it all inside with hardly any gain. thanks all....
  5. what is the piece that was bolted in where i have the valve now? just a fancy T? i just went and looked at it a bit more...it does just look like a big connector....i thought it was a proportioning valve the same as on the firewall. dang..atleast i didn't make it too far. dang i feel dumb
  6. i'm redoin brake lines now...i'm installed 2 wilwood valves..one for the front brakes one for the rear. here is the front, i just need to bring the line off the T and all the way over to the pass side. i thought about putting the rear valve on the tranny tunnel like the azc car pics...but is there really any benefit to that? it'd be a lot easier to just install it in the stock location on the firewall....just wanted some input as to where to put it, of if there was a good reason to put it in car.
  7. jim cook racing flares.......i have a set i'm about to install.
  8. that's it! thanks a ton! i'm ordering some right now. thanks again!
  9. i installed some lights on my xterra and fishing through the firewall was tough...some of the holes had this tar like stuff around the wires comin through...you guys know what the stuff is? where cani get it....i'd love to get some for the z.
  10. i'm running new lines and am gonna have them run dif from the stock mounts, main reason are the wilwood proportioning valves i'm using....but now i need a way to secure the lines...anyone know of a good place for like small little clamps i could evenly space out? i've searched a bit online but haven't quite found what i was lookin for. almost something like these http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/large/rus-654030_w.jpg but i don't want the line resting on the firewall or frame
  11. here's my baby....next upgrade coming is an ARB rear locker...SAS in front isn't too far off either. just finished up the bumper....little work left in the stinger area but overall design is done
  12. i don't really want to spend over 200 bux for a set....i've found some black KC 150w pencil beams on ebay for the same price as 100w from like autozone or checker....i'm picking up steel tomorrow morning and am gonna start on a tube bumper...
  13. i will have to check it out...i was thinkin of some angled AN fittings...i'm running the hx35 and have a ~4" total length spacer spacing the turbo away from the manifold. thanks for the reply man!
  14. i'm gonna take my oil pan and create a bung or buy one and weld it to the pan in place of the stock piece of pipe stickin out...this way i can run AN fittings and hose from turbo to pan....stock looks to be like 3/4"-1" or so....i was wondering what would be a good size for the return...i can tap my own pipe or purchase bungs....but am just wondering what would be a good size? is 1/2" big enough? thanks all
  15. i'm in the process of building a tube front bumper for the xterra...i'm gonna be putting some tabs on it for some lights.....but i'm torn on size...what do you guys recommend? 55w...100w....150w? i know 55 is legal for public roads....but i'm not really gonna be using them around town....more for the long stretches of straight road from denver to durango where there are tons of dear. also is there a brand you guys prefer over others? right now i'm lookin more at the KC all black pencil beams in the 100w.
  16. i'm on bowles and c470.....if i had some spare time i could help..my next spare time is for replacing a head stud in prox car...maybe my spare time after that i could help
  17. i had some left over pipe that i got from home depot, it was some thinner walled stuff...i've had it for a while...i section a short piece into 4 pieces...one at each corner...then just filled in the space with some steel.
  18. i just created the post a few down about my spacer....i was just gonna show you what i did to match those curves on the inside of the flange... and the finished product that matches the flange pretty much perfectly
  19. thanks....the cold side is actually gonna be adjusted...the wastegate is acutally gonna run under the IC piping...i'll take pics tomorrow...i re-clocked it tongiht...but the spacer actually gave me more room to play with it...should work out pretty nice
  20. all finished i have about an inch between the steering shaft and turbo
  21. here it is...gettin close to completion...my digital camera broke so i have to take em with my phone...pretty crappy...but it's look pretty good...i think it's gonna do well...it clears everything also
  22. i made it shorter and didn't angle...made some progress...now i just have to cut the steel and fill in the sections between...make sure it's flush and weld it up...i can easily break it off from the flanges...i'll then clean it up and weld it all togetheri like it so far...comin along pretty good...it'll look tons better once i take a flapper to it and make it all pretty later on i can take it off and add on some pipe for an external wastegate...but for now i think this will work. i took pipe and sectioned it so i could get the curves on the inside to match up...cause they match up with the manifold...
  23. later i will....for now i'm just gonna use the one on it
  24. hmm..that's an idea...i can tap the other falnge so i can just bolt it on...but putting a nut on the other side wouldn't be that hard either....we will see...i'm workin on it now..trying to figure out what i can come up with
