I hauled an rx7 from oregon to bay area (670 mile total trip). Rented a uhaul truck with a full dolly (so the car sat on it, not just a 2 wheel version where the rear wheels roll) for $360. This included insurance, truck rental, dolly rental, 800 mile one way package. Make sure to specify 1way. Just expect to pay $$ for gas. well, for one, there is no skyline 6 speed tranny. 2nd, if your car is a '76, its a 280z, not a zx (they're quite different) Finally, you'll have to have a shop fabricate a driveshaft for you with 1 u-joint end from a Z that bolts up to the Z diff, the other with a skyline driveshaft spline that goes into the transmission.

swap in 240z strut tower mounts. the 280z ones are about 3/4" taller than 240z ones.
