    driveshaft?

sorry for the confusion, i meant there are no skyline 6 speed transmissions he can use for a 240z rb swap. a silvia 15 6 speed is possible, but with heavy modifications and not worth it.
  2. I hauled an rx7 from oregon to bay area (670 mile total trip). Rented a uhaul truck with a full dolly (so the car sat on it, not just a 2 wheel version where the rear wheels roll) for $360. This included insurance, truck rental, dolly rental, 800 mile one way package. Make sure to specify 1way. Just expect to pay $$ for gas. I think the trip from oregon cost us $190 in gas alone about 2 years ago.
  3. LMAO! I can just see the co-driver...."left...left...left...left...". Wonder if he'll be drifting too ---------------- Colin McRae will meet representatives from America's stock car racing series, NASCAR, later this month to discuss a move to the country's most popular form of motorsport, reports the Scotland on Sunday newspaper. McRae could lose his seat at pace-setters Citroen at the end of this season and while the Scot says he's determined to stay in the WRC, he's exploring all avenues, including NASCAR. “All the doors aren’t closed in WRC and I always said if I stopped in WRC I would still like to continue a driving career," he said. "There are lots of interesting proposals but I would like to try and stay here as much as I can. "I think I would be quick enough but F1 would require a massive amount of commitment," he told the Scottish newspaper. "What appeals to me more is GT racing or NASCAR." McRae has had a taste of oval racing before. Last year he took part in a UK version of stock car racing, ASCAR at the Rockingham Motor Speedway (pictured). He was racing as high as fourth place before a puncture dropped his down to sixth. © Copyright wrc.com http://www.wrc.com/en_GB/News/2003/012/2003__R_AUS_McRaeNASCAR.htm
  4. I held mine with my hand and drove the nut on with an impact gun at a very low torque setting. worked very well.
  5. They need to graft the infiniti g35 coupe's ass onto a 350z, and it'll look wonderful
  6. Well, Boss Hoss bikes usually come with either a smallblock chevy 350 v8, or a BBC 502 cid motors.

    driveshaft?

well, for one, there is no skyline 6 speed tranny. 2nd, if your car is a '76, its a 280z, not a zx (they're quite different) Finally, you'll have to have a shop fabricate a driveshaft for you with 1 u-joint end from a Z that bolts up to the Z diff, the other with a skyline driveshaft spline that goes into the transmission.
  8. swap in 240z strut tower mounts. the 280z ones are about 3/4" taller than 240z ones.
  9. L-fing-MAO! hahahahhaaahahahhahaha that's gold, man, that's gold

  13. man, i'm sorry to hear that. probably wasn't worth it to get the car out of impound by then?
  14. actually, that 5 speed is going into the car tomorrow, i was finishing prepping (por15) rear suspension pieces and the LSD for a few days. the rotary will have to wait until i move
