TO rephrase the question with more detail... i have the toyota 4x4 wide calipers with z31 rotors and spacers and earl stainless steel braided brake lines. The question is... do I really need to bend the stock S shaped solid line, or can I just get a solid joint (2 threads on it to link the caliper and SS line) and run straight to the SS line? I examined the turn radius with just the SS line attached, it doesn't make a significant amount of difference, if anything, it acts better throughout suspension travel as far as i can see.
Bending the line without a tool is a PITA, and I'm afraid of putting anymore pressure on the sucker, as it might break. Any reason why I haven't read of people doing what I'm considering doing? I don't see any drawbacks. DavyZ was with me, checked it out, and he is wondering the same thing.
ideas?
