Not uncommon. The guy is selling nostalgia toolset. It's the same principle as the oem datsun guys that must by all means use original factory washers and spend a ton on them. The people bidding on the kit are doing so to complete their restoration You'd be surprised how expensive the toolkits from porsche 914-6 go for.

as long as you're planning on stripping it down, wasting hundreds of hours on rust repair, frame rail replacement, cutting, grinding, welding and bodywork... and THEN doing the interior, then yeah, it's a good deal. Otherwise I'd find a shell in more decent condition if I were you. Sometimes it's worth to pay more. It looks like you'd be buying rust with a car on the side
