  1. Just got the car road worth tonight and bought insurance for it. I'm going to be doing a lot of work on the Cheetah tomorrow at my friends shop. I'll post some updates tomorrow. Regards, Justin
  2. Thanks For the paypal payment. Regards, Justin
  3. Thanks, I will keep everyone updated on the progress. Regards, Justin
  4. I would recommend rotating the wastegate so that it points down and back. Then you can reroute the wastegate into the down pipe at a shallower angle. Looks very very good btw!!! What transmission are you putting behind it? Regards, Justin
  5. Here's a good link showing all of the different finishes offered on a STI (different model wheel, but Rota's) http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1286674 Justin
  6. I just got an e-mail back from Kim. I'm excited to get these wheels!!! I'm getting Royal Hyper Black. From what I've seen on actual wheels is that the gunmetal is a lot darker then it looks in the RB pictures. Justin
  7. Honestly I dont like the rear fender flares on there since your tubed. The wheels and tires don't occupy the space so its just looks a bit off. Great looking car. I can't wait to see it finished!
  8. I e-mailed Kim a couple days back and am yet to get a reply. Does it usually take a bit to hear from him? Justin
  9. I was looking at the model of the manifold last night. The current plenum configuration as seen is setup for upto 75mm throttle bodies. You could easly make it work with a Q45 (90mm) throttle body if you wanted. I personally don't think these motors really are going to see any restriction with a 65-75mm throttle body. Regards, Justin
  10. You could go up to a 75mm or so throttle body. I'll look at my CAD model when I get off work. Regards, Justin
  11. For those that are interested in the plenum base and intake flange, I will take a deposit of 50% of the cost on both parts. I will have a production cost on the plenum bases tonight or tomorrow. I could source runner tubing for those that want. I'd rather just have people source it locally. You can buy 6061 aluminum tubing here. I'm not sure how competitive this pricing is, but its a easy source: http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm?pid=4366&step=4&showunits=inches Regards, Justin
  12. Good to know that the MS2-Extra is coming along. Looks like I need to troubleshoot my MS2 and install it soon. Justin

  14. Wasn't Braap's fathers 440 Z a pretty budget build? I do love the pictures: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=111683&highlight=mopar
  15. Ron and I talked. We will be doing a run of these intake flanges. The price will be $185 for the intake flange itself. I will be taking pre-orders for the production run. I will take pre-orders of quantity 10-15 for 50% of the total cost. I feel this is the best compromise for everyone. By doing a run of 10-15, we get the price down for everyone. The matching plenum base can be purchased at the same time as the flange. The price for this piece will be around $75 depending on the quantity that people order. I will verify this price with the machinist. Hang in there for those that have been waiting. The prototypes should be machined shortly. Please note that those that want one of these flanges on there door by early July, that its just not realistic. Likely I will see the prototypes by the end of June. After verify the design, I will likely make a production order in mid July. I just wanted to be clear on this point so that no one gets mad when these aren't ready to ship next week. Vintage-TechZ asked a good question. I will include CAD data with the purchase of a flange so that you have the exact dimensions to make the rest of the parts to. I can accept payment by two methods. Paypal or check. If you'd like to do paypal, please include 3.5% for fees. That would be $95.75 for the desposit to my paypal address: JustinAOlson@gmail.com If you'd like to mail me a check for $92.50, my address is Justin Olson 18901 Hilltop Rd Lake Oswego, Or 97034 Best Regards, Justin Olson
  16. Will you ship the car for additional $$$? Justin
  17. Thats the same body setup I'm going with on my 280z. It would look great lowered down on some CCW wheels.
  18. Here's that sheetmetal dash I was working on in solid works. I need to go measure my car tomorrow and get solid dimensions for the model. Once I have some good dimensions to work from I'll post the cad file for whoever wants it. I'm going to work on a sheet metal center piece to add. Justin
  19. I'm in the same boat. I'm buying a l92 416 longblock and would like to run Megasquirt. Any word on the router board for MS2? Is that still a ways out? Justin

Here's another video of the same car: I'd like to know what the transmission setup that car is running.
  21. I'm going to be working on a similar project myself. I was going to have a local sheet metal shop bend up a dash for me. I'll post a solid works file for you that you could have a dash made from. This will give you the dimensions necessary to make your own dash. A good option if you want to get a aluminum dash to cut down would be to buy this prebent aluminum dash from JEGS: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_12942_-1 Regards, Justin
  22. For those that have been watching, here is a link to the current stock of all rota wheels. http://www.rotawheel.com/AVAILABILITY.htm Justin
  23. Did you have to pay in full to place your order? Are you going to run 245/40-17? Justin
  24. After I've received the prototypes I will likely release my design files for this manifold to the Hybrid-Z community. I have to talk it over with Ron as this originated as his design. I have some loose ends to figure out, but I think this will be fine for all parties. I'm not trying to make a profit on these parts, so I'd rather release the solid models and let individuals have the flanges machined. Regards, Justin
  25. I too have been waiting and asking many rota dealers about the 17X8.5" rota RB's. I'm going to e-mail Kim right now and see about putting my order in for a set. Regards, Justin
