I've pulled an E88 head from an 1983 L24E engine (skyline). Are these heads any differet from the old E88 head? Im going to put it on my L28 which was an F54/N42 dished piston combination. Is it possible to switch the valves from the N42 into the E88? Also, I bought some flattop L28 pistons, will I be able to use these with the E88 head, or will I have to stick with the dished pistons?
I will be running the engine with premium unleaded (about 96 octane rating), but dont want to run over 10.5:1 compression, and want to avoid valves going into pistons!
