oh dur
thanks stony i never even thought of just going to their website. i must have had a brain fart or something. i am so used to having to try and find a distributer for stuff
the green is nice but the 2nd purple is sick to
i am going with a satin black on my Z31 but you have me thinking about a dark dark purple now that i have seen those pics
i am kinda wondering why you would want to carb an engine that was never ment to run with carbs. you could more easily do it to an L series engine with about the same result and with alot less money.
if you are going for the old prince motors (S20) feel with newer stuff there are better ways to do it.
hmmmm i need to remember if the 1000cc top feeds i bought are high or low impedence i can't rememeber. i am using a greddy emanage ultimate so i may have to use the resistors i bought
thanks for makin that point
i looked in my R33 factory manual and i could not find a spec but i did nto look real hard
since its low impedence the resistance should not be more than 13 ohms i woudl say if the reading it between 11 and 12.5 ohms they should be good
so what if there is not a check valve? does anybody have a subsitute or know off a ony way valve that will work
i have a Z31 and the booster connects directly to the intake manifold on the stock config
i suppose i can look on the turbo version and see if its that same. but i am going to be running alot more boost than a stock Z31 turbo
no unfortunatly i do not have it anymore. i switched to a Greddy/Trust intake manifold and i think it was mixed in with the last bunch of aluminium i took to omnisource in bay city.
i still have the injectors and throttle body and some misc Z31 parts around the garage i have to clean it to take an inventory
waiting for it to warm up a bit so i can push the car out and power wash & degrease the engine bay and clean the garage out and power wash the floor .
then its time to mount the engine i have a buddy thats going to fab a T4 flange exhaust manifold for me. he makes manifolds for AMS in chicago ( also where i am takin the car to get tuned).
sorry to thread jack :icon29:
but remember avoid osaka motors in canada
juat don't buy anything from osaka motors my motor was rough when i got it and the intake manifold had a hole in it. good thing i was plannin on strippin it and rebuilding from the ground up
i am curious to? why E85?
i have a friend with an EVO 9 that was tuned by tim switzer of switzer performance in ohio to run on E85 and it puts down 450hp at the wheels. could be makin more power not running the E85. is it just a see if it can be kinda done thing?
oh my bad i saw manifold and did not read it right
a buddy of mine who works for AMS is going to fab me one. i know i bought an ebay special header for my spec-v sentra and it was not to bad
hmmm
are the main studs torque to yeild, the stock ones i mean?
i don't want to reuse the old ones but how much stronger are the ARP ones than the stock ones. is it really that neccessary to swap them out?
