  1. I have seen a quad 4'd MG before , wasnt a midget , possibly a MGB roadster , mid 70's. it was a really nice conversion and pretty fast according to the owner. I also have seen one used in a porsche (SP) replicar. rear engine style. It was kool too.

Ive owned 3 of them in various olds and pontiacs (pre Z days , forgive me) I have to say that the headgasket is the weak point in the motor , also in FWD configuration is one of the few IMPOSSIBLE things to do while the motor is in the car. might be a little tricky to get 18psi on it stock since it should have 10.0:1 compression I always wanted to put that motor into a fiero or chevy sprint or geo metro it is a good motor though , and pulls hard for being from GM in the late 80's...... good luck , that is a killer price for the motor later! ~Kenny
  3. I have to agree with BlkmgK on this one "CF console - no switch cutouts and maybe no ashtray hole" I was goin to make a little CF panel to cover all my swithes anyways but if I can get the whole console ........ Let us know what happens with this !!! thanks ~Kenny

  6. I have read that for the diesel guys ,propane is like NO2 is for us gassers. I read an article in ford power , they put it on a truck and got something like 600 lbs torque after the propane/intake/exhaust/chip combo. the truck (full size crewcab 4x4) ran a 15.8 in the quater

  8. I would say the VG30DETT only for the fact that it would be way easier and cheaper to get parts if something were to go amiss. But If It were me I would go with the RB , its just cool to open the hood and see a beautiful inline 6 just my .02 ~Kenny

    Also check your exhaust restriculator and the canooter valve. HAHA muffler bearings , my friend and I always used to do that to our not so smart car buddy. The fun one around the machine shop is the alluminum magnet

Who would have ever thought that an hour ago I clicked on this thread thinking it was about alcohol Kinda funny , after reading all of that it sounds alot like how people on the Z forums feel about places like MSA and TEP. I do have to agree though , this guy was ripping all sorts of people off. Its unforunite that there has to be places like this around. It kindof casts a shadow over other shops that tune cars because people may think "oh that shop ripped off so and so and this new shop could rip me off" so they dont want to take thier business anywhere.   15. My car did the same thing though I have you beat ZGad.... 4 broken pistons and 2 cracked. this was after an over rev/boost/mad ammouts of detonation oh well , I learned my lesson. later ~Kenny
  16. I got my fittings for the injectors at the HOme depot they are like a buck fifty a piece. The trick to tapping is keeping the tap straight and also drilling the correct size whole for the tap. not really a big deal. take your time though. that will make things better. GOOD LUCK!!! ~Kenny

  18. Just to let everyone know it took me a month and about 4 phone calls to get my rail stock from AZ speed and marine. If you have a more reliable sorce I would use it. ~Kenny
  19. I would do a little shopping around on those pistons . alot of times you can find local machine shops that have business accounts with JE and ROSS pistons. I have heard prices as low as $70 per piston depending on how well you know the people good luck on the biuld up!!! ~Kenny

I would check down this page a ways since it seems like I was just reading about it a few days ago. maybe in the turbo forum.   23. A few years back Sport Compact Car (scc) was doin cat and exhaust tests on a 240sx. They accually lost 2 hp without the cat on. They gained what they called "uncontrollable noise" my $.02 ~Kenny

  25. I found this diff at the junkyard , it is out of a nissan , does anyone think it will fit into my 75 280Z??? is it an R200 LSD???? I am not 100% sure on how to identify so I thought I would ask Thanks in advance ~Kenny
