hey 250Z I can give you a list of reasons to use the Jag rear, but to be truthful it is just an exercise in engineering futility. Thought it might be cool to use complete Jag drivetrain. I did hung undecided till the chrome axles and swing arms came up on E-Bay. It has a 3.31 gear, posi, and disc brakes. Also has the 5 bolt chevy wheel pattern. But really, I just wanted to do it. The little things Speed ask about are the details that really set off your car. After looking at yours, I'll go with the door pulls like you have. I have the stock Z handles on mine right now. Have my body hung for fitting seams, wipers,and misc. Hope to get moving a lot fastter now. Where did you get your door pulls? She looking good post more pictures as you go. Thanks Speed. MY rear will be the same width as a Z, but my front offset is a little bigger than yours. May be trouble there. Bought all four wheels for $235. Were on a show car and don't have a mark on them. Have to get adp. yet, they're $65 each.

Hey I got my Dayton wire wheels today. I just wanted to ask Speed if he had it to do over again would you buy the same size tires? They look great in the pictures but in real life only Speed would see little things that he might change. HI, I need info from a hollanders interchange man. I cann't work on my "GTO Datsun Jaguar " till I get my sons 93 Dodge stealth back on the road. He knocked the tranny out (too many nuatral starts I think) It came out in lots of little peices. Found lots of trannys, but nobody knows for sure if the electronic controls are the same. On e-Bay two days ago was a 6.0 that was buy it now $950, It didn't last long. Now there is one at $850 n/r right now under engines complete. They come up at a good deal and good away as fast. My 500ci cad was bought for $235 and should be easier to put in. I'll freshen it up first, but I want to get the car on the road this summer.

Thanks guys. I checked out the LS1 forums that DRK brought up. Looks like the bell housing bolt pattern is the same as the SBC, so the trans will swap too! The 6.0 might be the way to go.

Are the truck engines worth messing with? Tried a search Know one seemed to talk about them I've seen a few sold at a good price, and wondered if they'd be O.K. In a Z? They are based on the LS1 aren't they? Iron block, but what else is changed? Good street engine?

Got a car that was stripped, but someone got carried away with a grinder. Have some low spots in the lead seams. Does it need to be treated with something, or can you put plastic filler right on the lead? Thanks guys.
